I'm not sure if they will cut rates that quickly, but a pause would get a good reaction from the market. Cuts would be super positive for all markets. We're at 7% now, let's say we're in the 5's sometime next year, prices start going back up... Makes sense to place a couple bets here.
If you accept this reality then it's more likely you'll agree that this trend will continue. They will continue to print more and devalue the dollar more and more. This just means prices on all assets go up. Cash is trash.
Looking for either dog to have it's day. Are we going to see a huge economic collapse and the housing market is going to fall out?
My guess: Havasu area continues increasing by at least 5% YOY for the next 5 years.
300-ish mile range is right in line with the Tesla Model Y and when you're towing around ~4K lbs, I bet that range is cut by more than half.
Love the look of those Rivian's though.
I launched around 7AM Friday at the Riviera, very windy, got back in around 1PM and it was pretty busy. Saturday I stayed in and now I'm thinking about going out tomorrow for an evening sunset cruise. Weather hasn't been too bad at all!
Cybertruck should be a bit better in this regard with over 500 mile range (up to 700?), three motors and huge torque.
Very interested to see how it performs real-world.
Still in jail:
Estimate given on April 17th: "Two more weeks", so we'll see how that turns out.
It's been taking a while but it's good to see some progress being made. Bunks and lights are off the trailer, getting new ones put on. Keel of the boat is the last thing that needs to happen and...
Another couple things about boat shopping these days:
- Posts are not taken down / updated
- Sellers don't even want to sell it
I went and looked at two or three boats before I got mine and each one said, "I don't really want to sell it." - "I wasn't ready to sell it today."
Looking around...
I decided to go with Steve at Superior Fiberglass for the gel repairs and he's even handling the refresh on my trailer as well.
Steve has been cranking out this project and making awesome progress, even keeping me updated with a ton of pictures along the way! He's kept in close communication...
