Well, on the way to the dealer, I ran the Jeep pretty hard and it behaved as it should! We’ll see how long this Dorman t-stat lives but I have a new Mopar ready to go.
Thanks BB500, I just removed a Motorad that a local mechanic put in during some other work a few years ago. I replaced it with a new Dorman. I’ve heard only OEM works and I guess it’s true.
My 13 JKUR was starting to run hot recently when driving at highway speeds and would randomly cool down a bit. Crawling in 4 lo is not a problem even at Colorado altitudes. So I decide to replace the thermostat and burp the system.
I get the sealed funnel all set up and followed the internet...
You asked for a Dr. so here is my choice. We used him for several years before moving to Havasu. He is very thorough and has connections to get lab work done right. He is a “Consigere” Dr and might cost a bit more, but he takes all the time you need to understand what he knows.

I find the SS sniper team acted strangely at best. It seems the right thing to do (depending on what they actually saw) was to cap the guy with the rifle BEFORE he could use it😡. I can’t wait to hear the radio traffic from 4min before to 5 min after.
Not necessarily a “Jeep” thing rather someone who understands the ONE Time it will matter that you usually have all the time in the world to park (ie back in) but when you need to bug out in a hurry…..well.
This is a complete 1 Ton Jeep TJ drag link, dropped Pitman arm, tie rod and stabilizer. The prior owner had installed this just before he sold the Jeep. All joints and brackets are in excellent condition. Requires drilling the steering knuckle to fit.
Update: Apparently these tie rod ends...
