Thought you guys would like this story about Dan Umbarger restoring a Hustler Victor, his dad started the company in 1965. His dad raced it with twin 105 Chryslers.

This is brutal, feel bad for the dealer or owners of the boats. If it was 4 different trailers, then at least 4 people were involved, probably more. People talk. Tough to use them without doing some work to hide their "identity." Thieves are scum of the earth.
Anyone working on a backyard electric conversion? The torque and the lack of moving parts makes an electric motor really intriguing. The batteries are just too expensive right now but swapping an outboard power head is fairly straight forward...
I view this as positive as it is obvious that Nordic runs a tight operation and produces some great boats. The molds will be in good hands. Curious to see which models they keep going forward.
Love it, the TRD is awesome. My friend has the Matte grey one. One of the few SUVs with the traditional body on frame construction. Interior is nice, holds value well too.
Hey Everyone, tough Monday after Irma and obviously 09/11. We did a write up as promised on the small tunnels, if you want to take your mind off of things.

I have family and friends in Miami and West. Been a tough weekend. Family lost a fence and some trees, everyone okay. Want to get down there and help out.
It's amazing to see when the community comes together and helps each other out during these tough times.
Totally agree. When they were designed they ran way less power; 115s and 135s. They are tiny boats, I'm a bad passenger too. This one probably does close to 100.
Hey Everyone, fairly new to River Daves, love the forum. I spend my time mostly out east, so this is a great way to stay in touch with the west coast scene. Thanks for all the great input and the great forum. As a magazine we focus on smaller single engine sport boats of all kinds. Restorations...
Beautiful, full restoration of a Hydrostream Vector, neat story.

Haha, I didn't forget, it was V hulls only. Gonna get to tunnels soon. I love STVs, my brother has one. Love Eliminators too! Just wanted to separate the family sport boats from the tunnels, different market. Appreciate the feedback though. :) Jared
Ya, I used to not like them but spent more time in Miami and same thing, they have the space and ability to haul lots of people. Some look pretty cool too.
Thanks Matt, that's beautiful. We would love to feature this on wavetowave.com. Feel free to get in touch with me or have someone reach out. jared(at)wavetowave.com
