    BhcVic family New years trip

With bikes, and firewood, I used to take a 2x8 or 2x10, and run it down the side of the trailer. Use a dump can at the front and rear as spacers, and make a trough to pile wood it. On more that one occasion the plank was also used to get a stuck tow vehicle up and rolling too.

    Tim McDonald Trial

Here's something odd. I have a friend from Oregon, convicted felon. In the state of Arizona he was told he could not get a dealer license, or work in sales at a dealer. He'd moved down here to be with family after release, and had to pay for his parole and stuff here. In Oregon, there would have...

    Democracy?

It's because they're playing to an audience, not discussing the important topics.

RDP'S "What are you working on?"

Looks like new, only better! What else did you do to the motor? Did you do a cam by any chance? I've only heard "race" cams in 12 valves, never like an "RV" type or milder one. Kind of wondering if you'd hear it.

The most wonderful time of the year

Your statement and song post are timely. Already wound tight for various reasons. 20 minutes ago got out of wife's car, and it has a rod knocking... The next two weeks are slow with appointments and such. Ordered bearings and gaskets a few minutes ago. I have the money for the bearings, and...

Buds obstacle course. Do you think you could do it?

I have a friend that ended up working for the fire academy he graduated from. He had a speech problem that probably was the reason he could not hire on, and he was also 30ish at the time. So, they hired him on. Pretty cool really. At 40, he'd do the training courses with the 20yo's, and try to...

Buds obstacle course. Do you think you could do it?

In high school, I swam 3-5 miles a day, and was lifting weights 5-7hrs a week. My cardio was phenomenal... When I was 28, just before my wreck, I was in the gym 10-14hrs a week. Strong, but heavier than I am now, and didn't do any cardio. Any one of the obstacles, not a problem...3rd or 4th in...

    After Inauguration

They were saying on the radio yesterday that the NYT is stating "White House whistle blowers" have stated all the cabinet members and advisors have been calling the shots. This would be a reason to push the narrative of Biden being in charge. These people could make decisions that are left to...

We all know damn well Biden hasn't signed his own name 8062 times... They "checked" signatures for Newsome's recall, let's check Joe's...all of them the past two years.

Buds obstacle course. Do you think you could do it?

In my "prime", 20ish years ago, I could have at least finished. Now, I'd probably get to the top of the cargo net, throw up, and pass out...maybe. What's really sobering to think about, there are some guys on this board that did that course for training. American badasses.

Do You Consider a 1986 Car To Be Old Or Classic?

I'm a middle age old car guy. I refuse to accept anything I've driven as a daily could be considered a classic, like Fox Bodies. I'm not that old yet 🤣 Because of the stuff I've driven, I look at most 60's cars as "late models". Factory disc brakes, independent front suspension...modern stuff...

    Russia and Ukraine

Multiple embassies housed within the building...I wonder what else was housed there? Every time Ukraine launches missiles into Russia, the retaliate. The msm states how barbaric the Russian attack was, but makes no such mention of the corresponding attack previously launched.

Holy shit! A Texas sized train crash and derailment

It's cool that it's an option now, by manufacturers building trucks. 25 years ago, it was a goat rodeo with an old three axle that was never meant to do that stuff. The biggest issue was high centering into the building. Comparatively speaking, our stuff was light, but kingpin to axle riding...
