This thread is getting me thinking about opening up another Mattress business on the side again. Problem is alot of people want to come lay down on the mattress to try them out so there is alot of store front overhead to have a bunch of mattresses setup everywhere.
My friend used to own a Mattress factory. The markups are crazy. My current mattress retailed for $7800 and cost was $750. I would buy $2k-$3K mattresses at the end of the year for $450 each to cover his cost and sell them for $800 to people and they were super excited.
not sure about what would be causing the drop in mileage. Looking back I should have changed my lift pump closer to 150K miles. Thats when it would act funny towing a heavy load (17K lbs) up a long grade. After it finally died and I replaced it that went away. MIght be worth putting a...
Im not a Snow Bird but my truck came with cab lights from the factory so swapped them out with Smoke colored ones back in the day and I love having the soft shell. Keeps stuff from blowing away and out of the weather.
@248k you should have had to do the lift pump already, clean the gas tank while its out, all new matched Bosch injectors, water pump and you are getting near needing a Turbo.
My 2005 5.9 lost an injector @200K so did them and valve adjustment, 210K lost lift pump, last month @240K blew out #6...
We went Sunday for lunch. Our friend Ross was playing guitar. Main room was full. Took and hour to get a beer and another 30 mins to get some sliders. The food was good but the service was too slow. We will go back if our friends are playing or singing there but we wont go just to eat.
Lazy Harrys is further up river, its been closed since Covid but they are remodeling and trying to open for next year. They have a whole new Tiki theme and will serve food instead of just a bar. VooDoo used to be Coveau which used to be a mexican food place and had a great idea to bring in...
I had the Kenda Klevers before and they wouldnt wear out. I got tired of the road noise so I finally changed them out. They must be made of some crazy tough compound.
I bought some new Toyo AT3s last year on here from a member and put them on my Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4. The tire police are going to come get me because they were only D-Rated but they ride so nice and are quiet. I only tow a 21' boat down the street to the launch ramp so I am not worried about...
For once a year greenball are fine. They have been around for years and I have ran them on many trailers. My only trailer blowouts I have ever had were Carlisle and Goodyear
Havent tried it since they reopened it. Last year they turned it into a Gay Bar and brought in live Drag SHows and the place went dead. Same owners still but they leased it out to another person to run the restaurant. Hopefully they fixed the sewer system so it doesnt smell like ass inside...
I agree on everything except the phosphate remover. In my backyard is the desert and I get alot of dirt/sand blown in the pool and when my phosphate levels rise it eats chlorine faster than I can pour it in. I buy Orenda PR-10000 phosphate remover concentrate and just put in a tablespoon or 2...
I wouldnt tow it any long distances. Even my Jeep Gladiator gets pushed around by my 21' boat. Plenty of power to pull it, braking and backing it up it wants to push the back of the jeep sideways when turning.
I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor which is made by Monaco. Welded Aluminum Frame with no wood in the walls and ceiling. I had a Holiday Rambler/Monaco Dune Chaser Toy hauler before the MoHo and it was just as good. The Monaco brands have been the best functioning and quality RVs I have...
