Making a little bit of progress. Lots of one step forward, two steps back. It is a lot of work re-rigging a boat, bit somehow I do this every time.
Got the sea strainer and oil cooler placed. Putting them here allows me to sit on either side of I need to work on it for whatever reason. Still...
Sounds like you're set. I pass by Redline 4 times a day. Lots of badass rides in and out of there daily. If CBM can't get you fixed up, I'd check them out. In Anaheim right off of Lakeview/orangethorpe.
I pulled a Mallory distributor off an old 454 and put one of those D.u.i. HEI's on and holy moly, motor was spitting black carbon out the headers instantly. Considerably more powerful than the unit it replaced.
Blower hose is actually from all star performance. Typically used for brake rotors cooling.
The clamps are a combination t-bolt hose clamps with some brackets I made on the mill.
In the end, the install was a compromise between cleanliness and function. I was hoping to place one blower intake...
Merry Xmas RDP. Lazy day so figured I'd ask a question that I need some help with.
800hp pump gas 540 going in my Hallett 270 with a bravo 1.needs a new oil cooler. Are the combined power steering/engine oil coolers from CP any good or should I run two separate coolers? Any other options out...
Got the blower hose mounted, bilge pump too. Starting to make some progress. Fuel & water plumbing are next, then electrical.

Gotta little more done. Trying to keep it organized and clean, easy to maintain etc. Ran out of screws and clamps so can't finish. Got the bilge pump mounted along with steering cable attached too.
Wiring, fuel & water plumbing remain.

I'd run like hell from Embee. Have used them for years, but last batch there was a new guy behind the counter and between him and whoever coated my parts, fubarred my stuff pretty bad. Shit happens, but when the manager refuses to call you back to resolve the problem, it kinda sucks.

These would go into solid glass or glass over ply. Pretty sure McMaster has what I need, just wanted to see what the consensus was.
Thanks for the offer, I spend a couple hours on the lathe at work each week.
For those of you that wrench/maintain your own boats, has anyone ever used a threaded insert in fiberglass or plywood? Typically I would through bolt, but in places where I have no choice I'm considering using a threaded insert (stainless) rather than just using a stainless screw, especially if...
Yup, Lakers will be irrelevant, again. Sucks. One super star, one has-been that nobody wants to play with, no bench, and no more young core.
They got impatient with Magics plan and now they are fubared.
