I bought brunt's last year and enjoyed them for the winter. They now make a USA made boot and its about $100 more than the non US made ones. Ill disclaim that Im not working in mine per say, but wearing them around the river/desert to keep my feet warm all winter lol when they were brand new

Well, Flat Loose got some sunshine today and then parked back into the garage. I pushed it out into the back yard sometime earlier this year or last year to make room to fix the motor in my jet boat. Jet boat is done and cooler weather is coming so I cleaned out the garage and made the boat fit...

I have a Nissan with one of these transmissions, its the strangest thing I've ever driven lol I've learned to put it in "sport" mode so I can actually feel a shift, it still feels sloppy. I heard that they can be problematic, hoping mine will go another 100K miles

Its not just moving the rudder up, the stuffing box needs to be cut so its flush with the plate as well, it looks like its currently below by about an inch. All of these fine tuning adjustments will only make it a better boat. You have made more progress in 5 months than I have in 5 years...

It also looks like it's still missing the center plate that makes the runners. Very cool to see another old Hondo back on the water 👍👍

@RexHoes I was able to find a used crank button eventually. I think @bagged97taco sold all of his stuff, hopefully he will chime in. What parts are you looking for?

the problem is finding them, its finding someone that wants to part with one, myself included. I sold my buddies boat after he passed and pulled the billet paddle out of it before it sold to keep as a memory. So, I have one, but have no desire to part ways with it...............
