Well, when you don’t have two sticks to rub together, I’m not shocked. I normally go to the cinders this weekend, been monitoring the traffic back in to Phoenix from i17 and the beeline hyway seemed super lite for Monday after a holiday weekend

Yup. Never underestimate what people will do to be recognized on the Internet.

We had a HS friend who later went on to write a mildly successful country song.
But on the Interwebs, he was posting about his successes as a country writer, and he posted pics of his smoking hot assistant, homes in Tenn and Tahoe/Incline Village, pics of luxury cars and trips on private jets.
But he never posted poics of himself at any celebrity parties or vacation spots. Instead, he posted pics of his feet at these locations and acted like it was one of his "quirks."
He posted this stuff every day on FB.
Most people believed it and were in awe.
I was like bullshiat, and it took about 15-minutes of my time to uncover no songwriting credits other than the 1 song, he pulled pics of the hot assistant from a tattoo website; the luxury vehicles belonged to P-Diddy, and he jacked the home pics from Arch Digest online. All I used was some Google-fu.
I thought to myself, this guy is in way over his head with no way out, and there's a reunion coming up. But I didn't say anything; not my place too, and who cares other than I was curious (I dated his sister in HS)
Then one day his dad came onto FB and said they found him dead in his apartment in Victorville.

And that was that, nobody ever said anything about it, nor did they ask how he died.

Needles area was pretty packed for a labor day. Heard Pirates was crazy on Saturday. Took some friends several hours to get into Jack Smith and the pull their boat out on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

You may be glad you didn’t go. This was the most people I’ve ever seen on Labor Day Weekend up there. I was also amazed how many rolled out Sunday night.

I missed it all, got sick Friday and actually had the weekend off, hell still holding the couch down. But from the posts online seems like a fairly slow weekend, only one OUI as per MCSO

The point across from the turtle where the rooms are is shallow pretty far out from the shore.

We beached in front of nautical in April and there’s a raised section in the middle of the bay. I came in at about 5mph, pulled drives up and floated in. Got out the boat and was standing little over waste deep. SKegs were juuuuuuuust touching and there were rocks, BIG ROCKS spread about. Luckily didn’t hit anything.

You can kinda see the bar from Google maps.

As you approach the beach I was too far to the right ... the marina side. It didn't feel like it was too close but it was

I was headed downriver back to Havasu on Saturday after sunset, and saw two guys having bad days. First saw some big ass white V hull completely on shore, sideways, and cops were there and looked like someone was cuffed. Shortly after that saw this guy getting towed with air bags. Only got a picture of the second one. Somewhere around Clear bay, between sandbar and Havasu. Haven’t been able to find anything about either but damn curious…

Had an employee that worked for me years ago - so did employee's mother.

I knew employee was full shit with a lot of things but just let it play, every now and throwing out a jab so said employee knew I thought employee was full of shit.

One day employee was out of the office and Mom wanted to speak to me in private. She asked me if I had access to see employees facebook, which I did not as that was the first sign from the beginning I knew employee was being fake as no one in the office were allowed to be facebook friends with said employee.

Mom says - well we are being told "employee" is posting they spent christmas in Paris and owns all of these exotic cars/boats, etc. and employee has never even been on a "fucking" plane.

Mom and I had a very interesting discussion after that -

Not long after employee left or was terminated, can't recall for sure, but when I got my hands on employees laptop to pull needed docs from it, holy shit, above was just the tip of the iceberg.

So if this guy is out there on another weekend and the cops see him on his boat and most likely have seen the video can they go have a talk with him and maybe ticket him?
