So we went for a little test and tune on Friday night.
Boat idles amazing, but it literally dies once you hit 2K RPM.
We were successful enough to anticipate it stalling out/dying and we just gassed it and pushed passed it....made it to about 3200 RPM and then it would die again.
We ended up...
So something like this.
Making the top section shorter….so I can maneuver into place.
I won’t have a swim step so I don’t need anything bolted up high.
I’m looking to redo the wood on the transom due to some rot.
The current transom wood goes from floor to ceiling.
Floor to the bottom of cap is 22” and actual wood size height is 26”
How would I go about putting a new piece of wood?
Doesn’t seem like I can fit one FULL piece in the transom...
Trying to reverse and go to the right is horrible. I have no control.
Reverse to the left is good but have to give it some gas.
The boat is sensitive to weight distribution when going forward.
First few times I had to reposition people.
Ok anyone know where I could source a motor locally or cheap online. Trying to stick with a good brand like trane.
