H1B workers are not subject to FUTA. The IRS generally does not require employers to pay FUTA on H1B workers because their work visa status exempts them from the FUTA tax.

Sooooooo, employers do not pay FUTA taxes on H1B employees. You know it, I know it and as usual, yore a deceiving lil Anti-American liar. 🤣
That’s not true. Although I’m certain you believe it.

But given MAGA leadership will probably cut the IRS back even further there is no reason to comply with the tax code as the chances of an audit are very small and getting smaller.

That is another benefit for the rich that MAGA will accomplish. Making the tax code highly effective for reported W2 wage earners, the hard working middle class as they can be machine audited; all the while making the code not applicable for the wealthy as enforcement will not for all practical purposes effectively exist as those audits require manual human effort.

In most cases, but not all, yes. Yet they are not eligible for the benefits for which they are paying taxes for.

Of course as a proponent of “government is the solution” I’m sure you are fine with taxing someone and then exempting them from the benefits for which they are paying taxes.

Lol says the guy who bitched that 5 billion for the US to spend on border wall was too much to secure our country, but giving 100 billion to Ukraine isn't enough to secure democracy 🤣🤣🤣😄

Lol

Trump spent over 11 billion and accomplished 80 miles of wall where no wall existed previously.

But I’m sure there is no reason to argue about the price as he had Mexico pay for it. 🤡🤡🤡

Not me.

It’s the MAGA leadership in Trump and Musk who wish to do this. They are the ones stating how they use and love the system you now apparently decry. As a follower who worships your King, you better get on board with the program.

I’m calling out the King here liar, but I understand yore desperation, it sucks to be irrelevant when it comes to political power.

I told you long long ago, we’re taking over yore corrupt party and giving it back to the American people. The last two days have shown it and the King will bend the knee also. We put him there, we’ll remove him too. 🖕

Let’s focus on getting yore credibility back that I removed from you. If you could stop lying, that would help!!! 🤣

No, a set of elitist, some with felony convictions but all with exceptional marketing skills, have taken over the party and convinced a cadre of individuals that they really care. A cadre of individuals who will over a period of time wonder how they were so wrong. This topic is just the beginning of the repeated, yet consistent disappointments.

But let’s go with your view. It is so much more rational and plausible.

Oh, and get your king focused on the tax cuts for the most wealthy in America. They are barely getting by. 👍

Elon's right and its a good thing to bring it out. Democrats have the same issue yet far, far worse.

Charlie Kirk is fantastic and I hope he is eventually Trumps Press Secretary.
But some of the points he makes he needs better understanding on and that is something Musk is sharp on and sees the problem is a good example.

I believe this.

December 2015, daughter and I drove to MO for grandfathers funeral.
He was up by Joplin. Buried in Noel.
The limo driver gave me a tour of the town on our way back up to Joplin.
Telling me at one time most of the population of Noel was employed by the Tyson chicken plant.
Then Obama (his words and view) imported a shit ton of Somalians into town. The locals were fired and the Somalians were all working at Tyson.
It was a strange scene as we drove through a podunk town in Missouri and everyone was black, wearing traditional Somalian clothing and head dress.

He told me that up into the early to mid 1980s there was a sign at each end of town that read “If your ass is black, it better be out of town by night time”

Obama did say he wanted to “ fundamentally change America” and he did. At the very least he changed Noel, MO. Most people there are piss poor now.

I haven’t bought a Tyson product since December, 2015

The same thing happened in the "Twin Cities" of Minnesota. Minneapolis/St. Paul. This is where/How our Country was Cursed with "Omar". You know the outspoken Arrogant, Disrespectful, and "EVIL" piece of TRASH. "Oblamer" gave many of them "SBA" Loans and these (Fill In The Blank) purchased, or opened Convenience, or liquor Stores. The "CASH" Business is Good Business, as it makes Bookkeeping EASY. These "SCABS" believe and love "Omar" and will continue to keep her in Office until our "DOJ" does a thorough Investigation which will "END" this Shit. Don't forget after "911" she stood on the House Floor and said "Some People Did Something"- "Get Over It"o_O

I've only known one H1B visa person. He was a phenomenal metal shaper, and had a few year gig with GM in Burbank (at some projects facility there). Based off of him, I thought you had to have some highly skilled position. When the project was done, he and his wife (an accountant, but no visa) were told to leave. He and his wife went back to New Zealand...and my friend also lost his accountant he'd been using.

Kind of messed up...but he was one of those responsible for the HHR. Maybe that's why Obama kicked him out?

I've always had my reservations with Musk. There's a few things that just don't sit right with me about him. I will admit that him purchasing Twitter and the results of that I did like however someone that powerful being that close to a president I question. It would be no different then Zuck hanging around Biden as much as Elon has been hanging around Trump.

In regards to the topic of illegals I'm going to assume it will be no different then his first administration did it. I was working down in L.A. when I.C.E was doing some pickups. Talked to a few law enforcement buddies down there and they said they were going and picking up High profile criminals that were on the watch list and deporting them. They did a few days a picked up a few busloads of people they were looking for. I do believe though there were a few exemptions, I want to say Tyson foods got raided by them. I believe at the time they had a huge amount of illegals working without visas or proper paper work and they cleaned house over there if i remember correctly.
The promise is that it will be a lot different from the first administration.

Trump has promised 11 million deportations. To include encouraging the self deportation of legal US citizen children. That is a hell of a logistical lift.

Where did you get that? No one has said that anywhere I can see.

ICE is simply thinking through what to do with legal US citizen children who choose to remain when the administration deports the parents as those minors will by law become wards of the federal government until they reach the age of 18.

ICE rightly should think through the logistics of how to raise, feed, clothe, shelter and support those US citizens as will be the legal obligation.

If f they are minors how do they have a choice?
Wouldn’t that choice be the parent to make?

Yes.

But why would a parent take a child back with them when the child is a US citizen and the US taxpayer would now be responsible for its care? That would clearly be a better life than going back.

I think we need to understand what part is actual politics and what is reality. Trump campaigned hard on this because it was a huge issue for most people. The reality is it's physically impossible to deport 10+ million people period. I believe what most people want is the realistic part which is to close the flood gates, stop the caravans of people coming through. Look how many robberies, murders, rapes happened over that last few years from illegals that just came over the border. Let's not forget the millions of dollars in free food, housing, phones ect. What about Biden flying them on the American tax dollar to certain states in hopes of them being able to vote in time for the election. There is a lot of blood on this administrations hands all for the lust of power and enough is enough.

You had essentially an open border with a guy like Mayorkas telling nothing but lies after lies and having border patrol standing down not letting them do their job properly. Now we will have the opposite with Tom again and like last time the left will do whatever they can to block his moves.

Like I said before, I.C.E. will target high profile criminals first and foremost and that alone will take tons of time and resources in itself.

Unlike the traditional Republican and Democratic parties where you follow your marching orders. The new R party can disagree with each other on a topic, have some conversations/arguments about it and come to a different consensus.

Elon started with supporting the current Visa program to admitting that it needed some changes. I would say, unlike some folks on RDP, Elon can admit (basically) that he was wrong and change his opinion. Amazing how that works.

No doubt they could join the other 500,00 missing children. Working in a brothel isn't all that bad.....I guess. Don't hear any complaints from the other kids. Maybe being an organ donor is in the scope of making money too.

I won't dispute "IF" or "If" they can not "Deport" all the "Illegals" in the Country, "BUT" I will guarantee, as long as President Trump authorizes it, Holman will be Detaining and Deporting all that he can.

THEn, If President Trump, "Squeezes" Hard and Long enough to make documentation for "WELFARE" & "EMPLOYMENT" Strictly by the Book, then, "IF" they have relatives or friends who will support them, it will be only time before they leave on their own, without wasting money chasing them.

Holman will put in the work and make a huge dent on this topic without a doubt. I hope he does make examples out of Mayors, Governor's ect who are saying the will block him. I also understand that Sanctuary cities are a state issue but there has to a stop to it and they have to be accountable somehow for lives lost or crimes. To many people have lost family members due to Santuary cities their DA's and lax judges, allowing them to commit crimes be released to only commit more crimes.

You will have people leave on their own, it happened last time under Trump, problem is the numbers that left are far less then the numbers that came in.

Damage that will "Plague" this Country for decades. The Democrat Party allowed themselves to be taken over by the "Squad" and the Likes of them, and "ADD" in the Rhino's and it was a Perfect Storm.

President Trump is NOT "Idle Talk" as he has met with too many Victims and their Families of these "illegals" for him to Push It Aside.

I do not know where, Brandon, KaMaLa, Mayorkis and all the others will end up, But I am confident "Hell" will not accept their (Beyond Words)"Carcasses"

I can not Imagine that on every "Birthday", "Christmas" and other "Special Days", you Visit the Cemetary for as long as you are alive, because of The"President" of your Country.😢

If the greedy scumbags were really interested in high end labor, they’d be courting the Japanese.

We have enough talent here with our own population, but they ONLY want the cheap labor.

MAGA now sets the agenda. Not the deep state. That is a HUGE win all by itself.

These are the debates we should be having. Rage bait about chicks with dicks in the ladies room can only get MAGA so far, although I love mocking the mentally insane.

Nobody should fear spirited debate and we certainly have our work cut out on this issue. Like anything, the end result will be somewhere in the middle, but eventually we will win.

At some point we are going to have to face bigger challenges. Eliminating long standing agencies such as the CIA, eliminating income taxes, and the final goal, auditing and/or ending the FED. Compared to these, the H1B debate is nothing.

I am not sure you have a fucking clue what you are talking about.

I wonder how many of the career employees in FBI, CIA, ATF, State Department, FDA, DOI, DOJ, etc, were hired by Trump and are loyal to Trump. Especially the ones with 18+ years who are running those agencies.

Would be interesting to see how many of those people owe their careers to Trump.

Who is the deep state loyal to again? Who ran the country for the last 36 years?

Wouldn’t you prefer people in our government institutions to be “loyal” to the Constitution and the rule of law as opposed to an individual man?

Knowingly lying to the FISA court in order to illegally spy on the sitting President is now the definition of being “loyal” to the Constitution. Noted.

Getting back to the H1B visas - if a call for qualified people in a certain industry fails to be filled by US citizens, then and only then should the H1B visas come into play. All these companies that abused these visas, by firing the current higher wage employees to bring in lower cost H1B visa holders is complete bullshit and these are corporations that can afford to give out multi million dollar bonuses to their board members, can afford to keep these employees working. These companies can and should be sued for unjust termination and be fined for abuse of the H1B program.

There are about 161 million people employed in the US.

This program is 65000 visas a year which are good for 3 years with a possible 3 year extension.

At maximum if every visa was extended, we are talking about 390,000 total employees out of 161 million.

Given the incoming administration estimates there are 30 million people in the country illegally, focusing on this visa program seems to be missing the point of foreign workers taking American jobs.

In addition there were proposed changes to this program to protect American workers in the comprehensive immigration bill that was shot down by MAGA last year. So MAGA has already refused to strengthen the protections for American workers.

Because they are capable of doing more than one thing at a time.
Two different problems, Two solutions.

(1) The H1-B program has been corrupted, and things need to be fixed. (See earlier post from Elon).

(2) the 30 million illegals need to be removed, see Homan.

Lying again I see. Not surprising coming from the Anti-American worker POS you are. 😆

I knew it was a matter of time before you’d fall on yore sword defending yore Anti-American values.

Saved this for anyone willing to dive into the truth.

To start with, this program is MASSIVELY popular with employers. The program has a statutory limit of 85,000 visas per year, but employers routinely receive approval for more than 800k applications per year (868k, or 10x the limit, in 2024).
