LOL, even Sinema who helped write the bill voted against it, along with a bunch of other Democrats. And the only Republicans that voted for it was Murkowski.
Lol

You make my point. That’s what they told you and you believe it.

The bill as originally crafted was voted for by Sinema as well as a few republicans, Lankford, Collins, Murkowsi and Romney in early February.

Once MAGA leadership decried the bill as it would at least begin to address a problem they wanted to run on at the expense of all US citizens, a second form of the bill, significantly changed, was brought up in late May in which as you point out Sinema as well as Lankford voted against.

What say you RCMIKE ? Are you willing to stop any improvements legal or otherwise like 530 says ? " yet will do everything in your power to preclude fixes as your actions clearly show a preference for the system that has been in place since 86 ". 530 says you and everybody like you is the problem .Could you do us all a favor and stop doing whatever it is you are doing ? My God , talk about a pretzel .
Normally every problem in America is solely my fault.

Not every problem but this one you're onboard with and millions of others just like you to quote you . It's the law, It's the law . That's just a piece of paper. It's the people that twist things to mean what they desire . You know like fuck the laws of nature I wanna be a girl . You live in a unicorn world . It doesn't exist . Face reality , we tried it and it was a complete fuck up. Now come back to reality and leave the fucking kids alone and lets get back to a civilized nation. Twist away twister .

He likes to say what the law is...

I would think someone like Tom Homan would know what the law is. He says that without a visa, or exemption, the law says you must be detained.

So more laws are not going to fix the problem. The problem is we have presidents who choose not to enforce the law.

But sure, tell us how making something else illegal while saying at least 5000 per day are to be allowed to cross is going to fix this...

The law says you may be detained. Not that one shall be detained.

Simple fixes like that make a big difference.

But let’s just keep doing the same thing and as administrations change from one party to the next they can do whatever they want, as it will be consistent with the law.

How has that been working for the last 40 years. 🤡🤡🤡

And to think, most people in here argue that the laws allowing the Biden administration to do such things are perfectly adequate to protect our Nation.

I just don’t get it ☹️
I disagree on the first part. Most people on here elected Trump so he can deport the illegals and fix the immigration problem caused by Biden.

I agree with your last statement.

Lol

Look at how many came in under his last watch and how many asylum cases still haven’t been adjudicated from his term as well as how many are still in the US that entered during his term. Even Obama did a better job deporting individuals.

If that is your definition of securing the border, we’re fucked.

Yea I get it, he sucked less than Biden. Tell that to the next crime victim.

Odd, I don't remember you complaining 4 years ago when Biden started abusing the EXISTING laws .

What law would not be subject to prosecutorial discretion and bias?

Long story, sorry;)

I hear this argument about blaming people not wanting the jobs that illegal and brought in legal immigrants take from the citizens born in the US. Here's the thing, there are lot of low skilled people in the US/Canada who would take those low paying jobs illegals do, if the companies who thrive on paying squat, would raise the payscale a bit. Pelosi was ranting about it yesterday on MSM. She was ranting about the need for these illegal/legal slaves in the agriculure industry to feed the nation.
Here's my take on the subject. I totally accept the fact we live in a capitalist system, making profit. I came from a communist/socialist country where it was impossible to make a prospering future for the masses, living paycheck by paycheck to exsist. Besides the political reasons escaping from Hungary through Yugoslavia, ending in Trieste Italy, appliing for Canadian visa to immigrate , I wanted to live in a country I could build a brighter future.
My experience starting new life in Canada. Landed in Edmonton, got a job quickly hence Canada was hand picking would be immigrants from the refugee camps, looking for people with skills. Unemployement was at 10% in 1970.
Vetting started in these refugee camps prior to let people into Canada.
Got the job at a service center where skilled workers fixed appliences, anything from electric razors to cameras. I had wide range of experience in the old country, manufacturing military equipment to working in a film laboratorium that was my last employment prior my defection.
My salary started $120 cdn per month. Room and board was $90 cdn, I produced an average $90 per day for that company. Had to do two jobs, pumping gas at Chevron in the evenings, so I could buy a car [ 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 , was $750 in mint condition ] with loan that was sponsored by a friend, who is still my friend to this day. He knew, I was leaving Edmonton for Vancouver, that was my plan all along. I had to change jobs to get up on the payscale ladder in the camera service business in Vancouver, because every company I worked for tried to rip me off. I ended up working as a contractor on a 60/40 ratio that worked out great. Never forget the last job, a now defunct company Western Camera Services, owned by a guy who was the Rotary Club president, funneling money to Costa Rica. When gave my notice, fucker gave me a bounced check from Royal Canadian Bank. Found out, he started doing that to the other 15 employees for eight months, before shut down the business. All those company owners claimed they couldn't give raise, lol. I worked for company called Precision Cameras in 1973, owned by a hardcore tool and die maker german, Helmuth. He appreciated my work, we agreed on $ 800 plus bonus, starting piece work, Had an average $1000 a month. 1 bdr apartment with parking, $120, mth, 72 Challenger loan $120 mth, grocery ca $ 100, good times.

Do you still have the Challenger ? Nice car. It doesn't sound like this plan is helping too many people except the employers. Sounds like everyone else is getting fucked . Especially the people it's suppose to help. Congratulations on your success . 👍

Yore RINO cockus is at it AGAIN @530RL 🤣

A House of Representatives bill introduced by Representative Maria Salazar (R-FL) aims to change the American immigration system drastically—and not for the better. The Dignity Act, co-sponsored by far-left Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX), would increase the country caps for the H-1B foreign worker visa program, grant mass amnesty to illegal immigrants, and likely incentivize further unlawful border crossings. As a trade-off, the legislation would expand border security funding, increase the number of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents in the field, and establish a federal requirement for employers to use an immigration status verification system modeled on E-Verify.

Rep. Salazar contends the “Dignity Act is based on the biblical principles of Dignity and Redemption” and “…will restore law and order to our immigration system and support American workers.” Concerningly, the Florida Republican admits the legislation was heavily influenced by corporate special interests in the agriculture sector and pro-open borders nonprofits that present themselves as immigration reform organizations.
