This administration is allowing tax cuts to expire and new taxes to be levied beginning nine weeks from now. Better start preparing for Taxmageddon

So does this mean your throwing in the towel on Romney's presidential run?
Even if Romney wins, Obama will be President until late January. He has vowed to veto any extension unless it also includes tax increases. So itbis safe to say taxes will go up on January 1st.

Oh no WW, that would be you, because he's a Mormon.:thumbsdown
No, I'm still in full support and happen to be appreciating the national wake-up call that Benghazi and such stories as this are bringing to life about our current president. His lack of leadership continues to cost him and America dearly.
It's not easy to cover religious bias with words and stories, is it WW?
The Kenyan in office will still be in office on January 1, 2013 despite the outcome of the election. Just thought you ought to know that. That's when Taxmageddon hits you and I.
Oh I dunno, guess it comes easy to me However I can only imagine how difficult it is to have sound opinions when your information obtained from fractured media and religious outlets
Mr WW it does seem to come easy to you, JUMPING to CONCLUSIONS ! I read a fact about the position of this administration and previous tax cuts along with the time line of when the consequences would arrive at our doors. THAT is all of the points being offered ! NOTHING MORE ! I have a 'left leaning friend' who does what you did here, you take 1 and add 1 and then conclude that you now have the sum of 5 by 'left wing math'. Please come back to the real points being discussed here, your "mis-quoting", and "mis-understanding" of most everything from the "right wing side" point of view makes you look "less than able" to discuss any topics with clarity.
SURE, "anger, tantrums, avoiding the facts, and ONCE AGAIN, jumping to your own ridiculous conclusions" have you back to where you and I started. You seem to be "avoiding the facts" of this (and most) threads here. You don't know anything about me, yet you "spout off like an idiot" with worthless vile totally incorrect "personal opinions" about me and my conditions. (and EVERYONE just LIKE me) You go off on a totally asinine direction of "swaying opinons", and "you acuse others of TANTRUMS", and YOU are the 'cool head' in the room that's going to stop all the "grand mal tantrums" around here ? Look in the mirror !
Yeah.....what he said!!!Don't be lumping All the old guys in the same basket dammit!

Yeah.....what he said!!!
BTW I'm not sure about the numbers but if you are self employed I think you are looking at a 4% increase (2% Employee + 2% Employer.....you if self employed) just on the payroll tax relief that goes to everyone.....especially the middle class at this maxes out at ~$110K so no help for the 1%......just sayin'
Rule #1 of RDP political forums, broad brush strokes based on here say and opinion are golden
Rule #2 when you are in a corner with facts......change the subject
Rule #3 when #2 doesn't work make a personal attack
Some folks actually reverse #2 and #3 but the effect is still the same :rolleyes
Not aimed at you Dylan......just thought I finish the 3 basic rules of the P&G forum
There you goI prefer to open with a personal attack and then go straight to mocking the opposing viewpoint with photochops:thumbsup
:thumbsup:thumbsupOh Boy
Let me ask you this Geo, are you better off today than when Obama took office?
Exactly what facts do you think that I am avoiding here, all I have seen here are opinions! Doc puts up some cute little picture deal about "Joe the mechanic" from ohio and his tax burden and your calling that fact? Lets see that fuckers tax returns and see how this really pencils out. You want to talk facts? post some up, cite the reference and what ever it is you think it is that we are talking about here and I'd be more than happy to continue this.
I blame Your generation for the mess this country is in, your folks handed you the golden goose and you guys fucked it all up. Yeah thats right this shit went down on your watch over the last 30 years and now my generation is left picking up the pieces, Thanks Geo appreciate the good work:thumbsup

Look, after your stupid tirades in post #12 why should I TRY to speak with you at all ? I am not your Congressman (dumbass) so why do you blame this all on me or people my age ? Maybe because you don't know how to fix it either. I got to be 'my age' by working like a motherfucker', being 'smart' and paying my taxes, every f-ing year ! YOU have had the VOTE for a few years, why haven't YOU fixed what you say I f-ed up already ??? Did you FIX ANYTHING or just elect the current President, one who seems to not know what is going on around him EVERY DAY, or that is at least what HE SAYS. Please feel free to BLAME ME because you are a dumbass, and don't understand how the US economy works. I too do not trust our congress, but I feel we must start somewhere to turn around what damage has been done. My 'reference is my life of paying taxes' for a long time here and my control of my personal business'. The facts were as stated back in the beginning and you continue to TWIST what has actually gone on here. I don't know what your age or generation is, but I can tell you that "I did not add any debt to this economy, anywhere ! I did not vote for 'Hope and Change', because I always CREATE MY OWN HOPE AND CHANGE, but I need an American federal government to be 'pro commerce and not socialistic' while I CREATE MY OWN PROGRESS. Well, I hope YOUR GENERATION can put down their cellphones and pick up some tools and make their own lives better, just as I did. I am sure they will be able to do just that once we get the 'socialist Obama' out of the White House, and the congress gets scared enough to act. The more I read your words, the more I feel that you will NEVER UNDERSTAND what is really going on, so "good luck to you sir, in your mental/opinion state, you will need it !".
With the obvious absence of religious bias, I believe this sums your posts up quite well.
By the way, did you do your research on the coming changes in our taxation as the thread referenced? You WILL be effected, I guarantee.

Been having Brownie dreams of grandeur again? Craving maple syrup and praying for snow? Best have that looked at, it ain't healthy to fixate on being Canadian ya know......Aye?skull
You know I may have over spoken by blaming it all on people your age
. . . and Godzilla was a little lizard . . .
As we all learned, over the past four years, legislation can retroactively fix it! Only the next president will include congress in such decisions rather than ram it through by executive order. Even democrats understand the principal of over-taxation:

Rodney King is a great speaker to rely on, as long as you were not married to him. HA HA (domestic violence is not funny!) Post #1 had a statement in black and white, it also had a statement in red. Then it offered a 'link' to an example of some guy in America. I feel the statement in black and white was a fact, and the statement in red was also a fact. The offered 'link' may or maynot be a fact, but it is JUST AN OFFERED EXAMPLE as to how Americans could be effected by "the statement in black and the statement in red. I took this as to "two warnings about ACTUAL upcoming tax hikes" with a general 'link' example added. You, on the other hand went off into outer space with your 'personal BS opinion' with no logical facts, direction or point. You further brought up all kinds of other unlelated BS and tried to put it all together as some kind of 'POV'. (with no point) Look I now see exactly what your opinion is worth around here. You think you are a HOT SHIT BOAT GUY, but you don't know a f-ing thing about the value of truth, life, freedom, true choice, paying your own way, VOTING WITH KNOWLEDGE, and understanding the larger picture. Thank you so much for this 'colletive' of exchanged ideas. I'll put our exchange with all my other prayers for our young people, so that they may see your foolish lies and errors and hopefully rise above them. I feel that there is always time to help you 'save you from yourself' but you really need to get your head out of your ass first. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN, I HOPE WE CAN START HERE WITH YOU !
Sorry WW, due to a lack of substance, I seldom read the content of your posts and when you poo-pooed increased taxes on Americans, I realized your personal wealth over-rides any possible wisdom you may have acquired over the years.
That guy needs a new accountant

I just bought her a new car so she is fairly happy.
The facts are,
1) If you stopped all discretionary spending, America would not run a balanced budget.
2) The economy is growing at approximately 400 billion a year while we run deficits in excess of 100 billion, also known as a trillion. It is more likely that the growth rate will change than it is likely the spending will contract.
3) In order to balance the budget going forward, taxes will probably have to go up on all people from the the bottom to the top to include the middle class and those making most of their money in capital gains. Likewise, spending will probably have to go dramatically down to include cuts not only to discretionary spending but to social security, medicaire, medicaide, farm subsidies, education grants, defense, student loans and every sacred golden cow that exists in every congressional district.
4) Neither party can get elected in America, nor can any politician get elected if they tell the objective truth. The result of this is that balancing the budget becomes increasingly difficult each year.
5) The result is that we have a "Politics & Government" section where people hurl insults at poor Rodney King, God rest his soul.

BTW Doc, that stuff about my friend "Church got Ronnie" that I posted up early in this thread really happened yesterday, no kidding. You ever hear of stuff like that? kinda threw me for a loop to say the least.

I 'feel' the statements are fact because I have READ about the subject and fact checked the info. I agreed with the info, but had no backround knowledge of the link. I now understand why you BLAME EVERYONE ELSE for all the problems around you, you just don't understand what is going on around you. I used the term "I feel ", because at the time I felt it was inappropriate for me to say "read up on this subject before you open your big mouth you dumbazz", but I may have been wrong. Maybe check with a few sources other than MSNBC, before you come on here and question what is being posted, because right now you are clueless as to the actual facts. This 'Bush tax death' has been a interview topic on Cspan 3 times in the past 2 months, and it's all over the internet for everyone to 'look at, question, and UNDERSTAND'. I'm talking about the FIRST Rodney King, not the one here !
The original post was a cute little pic with no links to sources of fact based information, just a statement by the original poster.
