Absolute Crap - Why is it that you can't trust anyone these days? and that Ted guy whoever the eff he is, is just a complete LOSER. You can bet he's out of business for good thanks to RDP and a whole heck of alot of people knowing that Ted is a schister.

Someone should stop by and put a sign up directing the victims to this thread so they can see just what kind of "family emergency" is effecting their lives. I really cant imagine having to go through something like this, it could be the straw that breaks the camels back financially for some folks.:thumbsdown

If there are still boats at Ted's what is to stop him from selling them super cheap just to get some kind of cash out of them and screw over his remaining customers? Isnt there someone that can go get them so they too are not victims?

I've sent a bunch of people to Ted in the past, and he was always a really great guy to talk to. After he pulled this same shit on a buddy of mine, I steered people in a different direction, but had hoped it was a one time deal.
Now we know its not, and this has been going on awhile.
I hope Ted gets raped in jail nightly, so he gets a taste of the fucking he has put on others.

Thanks sodarski - gotta love public information. Ted is enjoying a nice stay in jail on PC 1551.1 arrest without a warrant and is ineligible for bail and no hearing set thus far - arrested yesterdat at 4:40pm - dirtbag!

Dang, the list get's bigger... Back before I bought my boat, I found a sweet Lavey Craft at Boaters Outlet that I became married to. About that time, I read all the horror stories on Ted and decided not to buy it from him. Then I made a post on the Lavey Craft facebook page and the exact owner of the boat PMed me and asked if I wanted to buy it private party. I was ecstatic to say the least and we set everything up and then went to go look at the boat at Ted's place.

Immediately when we got there, Ted told us that the boat was sold and we shouldn't even waste our time looking at it. Well little did he know, I was in negotiation with the actual owners of the boat and just using him to view the boat before the owner pulled it out of Ted's shop and sold it to me. Anyways, the owner called me a week later and said that Ted did indeed sell it and accepted a deposit without his knowledge and that because they raised their offer to full asking price, he was just going to sell it through Ted.

I will be honest, I was upset because I had my heart in that boat (stupid) and I was pissed for another week. Then I found my current Lavey Craft, which had 200 less hours and was 5 years newer for LESS MONEY. HAHA.

Anyways, I just emailed the owner of the boat and asked if she had been paid, gave her the back story on Ted being arrested and she replied that they HAVE NOT BEEN PAID!

I have told her to file a police report with the Upland PD so they can make sure she becomes part of the ever growing list.

When I met this guy, he seemed soooo shady... As well, he was driving a newer Dodge Ram 2500 with a custom license plate (boatbkr or something). Apparently everyones boat sales were going to pay for his trucks and toys and not the lien holders / owners.

I also messaged Rollin247 to see if there are other things she needs to do... This is crazy and I'm SO GLAD I did not buy my boat from this crazy Ted guy. :champagne:
