That is exactly how I use it, I easily ignore the rest of the crap on there. The politics thing is funny, the idea of my changing some ones mind or them changing mine is laughable, aint going to happen....Like teaching a rock to fetch.social media is what you make of it.
too many people cant accept the fact that others don't have their same mindset or view of things in the world and feel they must do anything to change them to their thinking. garbage in, garbage out..
since the onset of 2020 i made adjustments to my feed to see what i want to see. i also didn't let myself get caught up in the BS that's been going on. i started to use it more like this forum, just a wealth of information on vast subjects, finding different interest groups, pages that im interested in learning about, and finding positive things to follow and even share. FB marketplace is also where i spend a lot of my time on the platform. most of my stuff is car, camping, adventure travel, making things related.
