I'm in your court on my thinking presently.... I've been giving this thought since the very first theft of the stupid weed pens. My buddy who actually gave me those pens freaked out and wanted to get in her face when I told him what she did.... he's had vast experience in the LA clubs and at 40 is a ladies man preferring girls with careers over the broken gals. I told him we would not be cornering her and I'd handle situation my way. She has subtly mentioned she "supports"her mom and she is eldest of three with two brothers at 15 & 6 and the 4 of them live together. Her pops is around but divorced and she showed me pics and they meet for breakfast on occasion and she loves him very much. I have this info through very subtle questions I ask not wanting to pry and also not wanting her to think we have a future or that I'll be taking on her tribe at some point. That happens a lot here with the Gringos. today is spent watching NCAA with a few buds and getting away from this topic for 3 days. I've got two gal pals arriving in am for 2 nights of shenanigans so good timing all around.

I wanted to give your post another glance.... she has always maintained she doesn't sell sexual favors in these clubs and states most of the girls do but she chooses to only sit with men, converse and she enjoys working on her pole moves and exercise. She just got an A on her class she takes on dermatology and seemed quite proud in saying so. If she's a full on liar and pro hooker she's quite good at being so. I will definitely consider instructing her that if she is tight for money we can discuss making arrangements ... I thought of this 2 months ago after the weed pen incident. I was planning on telling her "If you need anything here all you have to do is ask.... stealing won't be tolerated in my home." I decided not to have that conversation and simply made sure I was not vulnerable to theft in any way. NEWS FLASH.... remember the title of the thread? Remember how she stole two weed vape pens I had in my humidor?
Well that was late January... since then she's been here an awful lot.... she typically will arrive around 6-7am after work, tells me shes hungry which is when I tell her "Just give me one more hour of sleep" She curls up in bed and crashes hard till 11-noon I guess forgetting about being hungry. When she wakes up I cook us breakfast and then the lounging begins for the day. So I booby trapped her several times attempting to test her "klepto" ways to see if she could be trusted at all around my place. She never touched anything tempting for 2 solid months here. She even began taking some nesting/ ownership behaviors like straightening up and cleaning without me ever asking. Then it happened.... BOOM.... money is missing... she arrived early Saturday at 7am, went right to bed. I get up around 9am and close door to bedroom as I start making coffee etc.... she was in bedroom for around 4 hours undisturbed with door closed. I hide small cash in a envelope since she's been around... I place it way up high in a closet maybe 8' off ground. Friday night I walked to atm to take out about $200 just to have for her Uber rides that I cover. I was pretty lit that night when I went to bed but Im one of those people who never loses anything... and I mean anything... I haven't lost a thing in 30 years. Now I am in a quandary.... could this lil klepto chick somehow have climbed up there and seen that envelope? Was I so drunk I lost it somehow and will it magically reappear one day? After she woke up and we ate breakfast I started watching march Madness as we sat on couch. She mentioned her mom was having a drama fit about this n that so she was going to go home and return later. I got up to go grab $12 for her uber and discovered envelope missing. I immediately thought of her Klepto ways earlier... she saw me freaking and came to bedroom asking if everything was ok.... I told her what happened in a non accusatory manner and she told me to relax and when I calm down I'll remember where I put it. Now believe me I know all the haters and even the average guys following this thread will jump on this saying all the "I told you shit" but the sharper guys following will recall that this entire thread is simply a study in human behavior and discoveries that life often doesn't allow us due to life placing most of us on hamster wheels that have a lot of guard rails. She never returned last night and I thought when I went to bed... well, there you have it... she'll never return. I woke up at 8am and had texts from her at 1:30am asking, "Am I ok.... am I awake.... and after no response she texted "Im worried about you." I typically would have texted her goodnight or something but crashed needing to clear my head and think this all through Sunday as to what next moves will be. One interesting caveat was I remember her doing something I had yet to see earlier Saturday right after her theft would've taken place... she was out of the bed and she took a sweeper mop thing and went over the tile floor in bedroom. That was before I discovered the envelope missing.... I thought at the time, Hmmmm, never saw her do that before. Fascinating stuff going on here at this place..... Well having been around a little of this when I was younger it’s gonna be one of two things..

Good post and nice when somebody pays attention.... yeah we had that "convo" as best we could at the time .... fact is I did go around her to the hotter pro .... I just got busted is all...I made my apology and she claimed to move forward but my instincts are that is when she defaulted to her Hood Rat background and I couldn't quite get our ship righted [Boating reference] .... Perhaps that incident made it easier for her to steal. I'm definitely over giving this anymore of my mind space...Each day that passes I move further from this entire experience.... I learned a valuable Rosarito lesson and had some fun for a couple months without "Losing an Organ."

I also accomplished my goal which as some may recall was to wake us up from our winter doldrums with some unusual and personal conversational sharing. We'll see... time has a way of soothing feelings and emotions calm in time.... remember this is a modern era relationship with a 25 year old which means majority of communications are done electronically through texts.... she responded very defensively via text yesterday in response to me telling her "I will be taking some time to clear my head and will circle back after to discuss things." That response to me indicates guilt and by no means have I cornered her or given her any reason to think I believe she stole the money. I've led her to believe I misplaced it. Indications are she has been down this road before. More than likely we were just two people seeking different things or perhaps the same thing and simply had different attitudes on achieving it.

Yup unfortunately... and I'm never a guy out of control even when drinking heavily.... can't recall last time I was literarily "Drunk and blacked out" either at home or out and about. I was pretty buzzed that evening but am a creature of habits and though I don't recall vividly placing that $200 from my jacket zipper pocket to envelope to high cabinet storage in that shoe....I knew she would be arriving early next morning so I always hide cash up there when she's around... I am placing my bet on this relationship as I did exactly that. Well stated and appreciated... I always hope for positive outcomes... in this case she most likely is just a broken winged young gal doing her best in life. I showed her respect mostly with one hiccup when we were in a power struggle temporarily.... I'm not sure it was an attempt to domesticate so much as it was a social experiment with feral. Well, I am a grown ass man and I have made mistakes a plenty and I have learned the value of an honest apology but if I'm being honest I can do a lot better and I don't like having anyone in my place I cant trust. I was really hopeful that her Klepto ways were behind her as far as directing them towards me.
