Fuck the USPS, they suck ass. I swear, all they do is deliver 6 pieces of junk mail for every one piece of real mail. And at least once a week I get someone else’s mail with THEIR address.

It’s asinine to have 600,000 workers doing the work of 100,000 in a damn near dead industry. I’m surprised we don’t have a telegraph corps too, it would be the same fucking thing.

So, ya, I’m thinking I love that meme with the swamp drainer taking a big swing at one of the largest swamp rats around.

Batter Fucking UP!!

Since this thread has been reduced to memes...

You could give the usps a billion dollars tomorrow and they couldn’t fix anything broken with them. One of the worst run part of government that isn’t even run by government totally. That’s the first problem.
The Second problem is the states that don’t have a big mail in program , for them to implement something this quick will have all kinds of problems. I foresee ballots not being counted for weeks, lost ballots, and ballots that will mysteriously appear. What’s going to happen when they can’t have a clear winner the next day after the election? Both sides are going to claim cheating, demand recounts it’s going to be a massive cluster fuck.
For an accurate description of the Future. see above. This is going to be a Total Shitshow of epic proportions. That will last for months, maybe years, after Trump wins. You thought the past 4 years the Democrats were insane? Hunker in the Bunker Baby, it's gonna be on like Donkey Kong...

And they went bankrupt. The USPS lost $8.8b last year, which is about normal. But the US backstops them every fucking year. I doubt the total losses of all the Trump failures would equal one quarter of years losses from the USPS.

Do you know why they are removing mailbox locations in NY? Because there is no mail in them, they are not generating revenue but they have to send a driver by every day just in case there is 1 envelope. It doesn’t make financial sense to continue to do so.

USPS has lost $69 billion over the past 11 fiscal years—including $3.9 billion in fiscal year 2018. USPS's total unfunded liabilities and debt ($143 billion at the end of fiscal year 2018) have grown to double its annual revenue.

Someone needs to explain non common core math to Jen...

They removed all of the mailboxes in my neighborhood a few years ago, including the ones in the post office parking lot.

The only thing the boxes were good for in the town we moved from was the kids dropping their ice cream cones in them.

Some idiot on Facebook posted that if half the adults in the US bought one book of stamps the USPS would get $1.8b. Now, I have no idea if that math even works out, but even if it did, they’d still be $7b in the hole. No business would ever be able to suck as bad and as long as the USPS.

OK, yeah the USPS is fucked up, but a BIG issue with their financial problems was when the Congress tried to govern them and required them to have a reserve account equal to 75 YEARS of retirement liability. Average Postal employee retirement lasts 15-20 years max.. The gov't has been subsidizing the railroads for decades and if they were required a similar retirement account not even the gov't would have enough money to keep them fluid...
There is so much more to the story, but the basic answer is Trump didn't start any of the current delivery issues.. Mail in ballots, (not absentee ballots), are a desperate dimturd attempt to steal an election they know they can't win...Make election fraud a federal offense with a serious prison sentence and it will stop as soon as the libturds committing it are locked up and banned for life...

When you get your ballots in the mail take it to your polling station instead of mailing it under the barcode it has a number and The letter R for Republican D for Democrat how convenient to trash ballots!

If this is true....and a postal person could....? Getting more desperate by the day. The campaign emails from both Trump and Pence are laughable.

Well if it's all bullshit then why is it all over the news they are pushing mail in voting? If mail in voting is fine and legit process let the people choose? Oh yea forgot covid. The Dems and media are telling people, you can go to markets and shop with large crowds you can peacefully protest in groups of 1000's but wait, can't go to gym's or church and if you want to go to a restaurant you have to sit outside? You shouldn't go to the polls because it's unsafe? Why isn't costco setting up tents and pallets out in the parking lot for the safety of it's customers? I can go on and on about it.

It's been shown and proven many of times here on this board mail in cheating is real and is happening yet when brought up you guys go silent. I get it you need the edge so when you guys lose you can say "we had the popular vote and trump really lost" because it makes you guys feel better.

No. The math absolutely doesn't add up. But don't let the facts get in the way of a fabricated crisis. These dipshits unfortunately are allowed to vote.

The reason churches and schools are remaining closed is because that’s where people vote. They’ll both be allowed to open after the election, guaranteed.

I've said it many times on RDP, If one can't get to a polling place ONCE every 4 fucking years to vote in person for the most important job on earth than tough shit you don't get to vote, PERIOD!!!!! There are VERY few exceptions.
There isn't one of us on RDP that don't or can't take a day off occasionally to do something, IE go to the river, beach camping, whatever and NOT make it in person to a polling station to vote for a President, no matter which way one leans.

Well, maybe. Currently there are approximately 328,200,000 people in the USA. 76% of those are adults, or approximately 249,432,000 adults. A book of stamps is currently $ 9.80. That equals a gross of $ 2,444,433,600.00. I don't know what the cost to produce the book of stamps so can't calculate the net, but it's possible that the math is close.

As you pointed out, that's still just a drop in a large bucket.

And can you imagine if all the stamps were actually used? That would be 5 billion pieces of mail injected into the system. If everyone bought enough stamps to equal $8.8b, and used them, it would be roughly 20 billion pieces of mail. The USPS would end up increasing their losses massively as they tried to scale out, which they can not do as they suck. It would be an utter disaster. For reference they did 54 million pieces last year.

That shit needs to be closed down and let fed ex or ups optimize that shit.

The only reason Rod is arguing is because he knows that physical voting is a much less margin for error as compared to mail in.

We want a fair election, preferably with a Trump win.

He wants a Trump loss and doesn’t care how it happens. He will promote any and all methods to assure that outcome whether he admits to it or not.

As Gary stated, there is NO earthly reason besides Covid hysteria to prevent in person voting.
The only reason Covid hysteria is happening is due to the outlines described in the recently released shadow film.
It has nothing to do with cases or deaths.
The LAST THING the socialists care about is death. Hell they kill people all day long. Anyone who doesn’t believe that is naive.

14,000 mail collection boxes were removed/ relocated during Obama’s 8 years.
The “post office debacle” didn’t happen last week, it’s happened for decades.

Congrats Rod, you’ve gone completely fucking nuts.

It's the post office, it would cost at least 3,000,000,000.00 to print them.
Stopped by the local PO this morning, can only drop[ mail inside.
The counter hours are 10:00am to 5:30 PM.

They are fucking open five and a half hours a day.

Which reminds me, several years I stopped at the local PO to get a passport. There was a line to do so and you could see into the backroom where the magic takes place. It looked like the scene from the bar in Star Wars, nothing but freaks most of them standing around not doing shit. None of those turds could hold down a job in the private sector.

It's amazing that suddenly the dems are so worried about the postal service. Obama on more than one occasion bashed the postal service and demanded reform. This serves 2 agendas for the dems. 1) mail in votes are counted the way they want them counted. 2) if Biden loses 4 more years of investigations and lawsuits and not accepting the results.

Actually what I want is for everyone that has the legal right to vote has the opportunity to exercise that right. If that right can’t be delivered under this presidency, then we can just add it to the list of failures.
