I see some own Doberman's, a few Rottweiler and Pitt bull owners on here. Has me thinking what is the most popular breed. So what is the most popular? I'll always own Rottweiler's.

My dogs head is as big as some on here's dogs. :D

We did have two cocker spaniels growing up. Also a black lab.

Originally when I decided to get a dog, wanted a Doberman. Had a repair shop/used car dealership and one of our customers came in a lot with a Rottweiler, she was a cool dog. Found one in the local shelter and adopted her. Then decided she needed a friend and went breeder route. Rescued another from a bad home. Did the breeder route again. Now trying to decide if I should rescue or go the breeder route again. The breeder of my current boy died in 2011 from cancer. So need to find another breeder breeding the same lines. If I go breeder route want a relative of my boy.

I've always been a fan of large breed dogs. But considering the boating lifestyle of most of us, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of the smaller breeds represented. Not everyone has a big enough boat to acomidate a big dog. When the time comes for another, we'll probably shy away from the Mastiff's and go more towards a water/boat friendly breed.

I've got two :D They are pretty stout and travel well otherwise they are just noisy as hell !
I picked up the runt of the litter when I I got her. She's horrible in the car (whines like a son of a bitch) but she loves the heat. Back when I had my ultra she would hop up on the open bow and lay in the sun for hours. She would almost look dead. Id have to splash her with water to see if she would move.

She likes the heat so much that she looks at the fireplace in the middle of summer and whines trying to make me start a fire. She's crazy

German Short Hair Pointers in my house. I will buy 2 as soon as my kids are old enough to share in the responsibility and are old enough to go hunt some birds with me.

I love GSHP's. I am in between one of them or a German Shepard.

Have two pictures of my boys grand father on his mothers side and father. The breeder has frozen seaman on the grand father, I'm semi waiting for him to breed a litter. The father is from Denmark and I'm waiting for them to breed more puppies. All the dogs I've got from breeders are related.

Wow...me to!! My neighbor has a Shephard and I love him....absolutely beautiful dog and having one is like having another gun in the house. I looked at a female puppy recently and almost brought her home. Only thing is, I want hunting dogs. Had a white lab for 16 years and had to put him down. Cant deal with all the hair labs shed on my dark wood floors so that is why I want some German Short Hairs this time around. Going to go with 2 though so that they cam entertain each other when we are not around. Got a guy in Yucaipa who breeds and trains them. $3100 per dog, fully trained and ready to hunt.

Golden Doodle...god I hate that name! : )

No shedding, no allergens and the smarts of a Golden and Standard poodle. They go everywhere with us, even Powell.

This is Bo.

Kinda like me, given the opportunity i would rather have one from the same line/family....and not really interested in another breed. I seem to have good luck with rescues, even ones with known behavior issues. The humane society classified the one i have now as wild/unruly/difficult to handle. He was very close to the end of a 30 day stay when i got him....nobody wanted him. What i ended up with is a dog that is just as happy chasing coyotes on command as he is off leash at the rest home where my mom is.

Another nice Rottie.

Called a breeder of Rottweiler's in Washington State. He also does trained protection dogs for sale. Since he doesn't have a Rottweiler in the blood lines I want. He is trying to talk me into an 18month old obedience trained German Shepard female. Thinking about it.
