The "Rusty Scupper" at the harbor was good. Just a heads up, they're a bit proud of their food. But, a nice place and setting.

Spend some time in Fells Point at the inner harbor. One of the oldest spots in the nation, full of food and bars.

We liked the Walter Reed Army Hospital Museum.
Not for everyone.

I was going to say Try to not get mugged?

But on a positive note, how about a bunch of pics for us that never been there?
That was my first thought before even opening the thread.
Apparently, I wasn't the only one :D:D :
Start a riot ?

Burn something down ?

Leave ?

Do any of these ideas HELP ?
Stay indoors and be safe!
Did you lose a bet?

Try not to get killed, Baltimore is right there in line with Newark, South West Chicago and Detroit.

I live 15 miles outside DC for over 30 years. We are 35-40 miles from Baltimore. My opinion DC has way more to offer. They do have a lite rail to get back and forth between the cities.

As far as shootings and muggings go, can't be no worst than LA. In Balt. Stay near the water front and you ll be fine. Also little Italy is great , Inner Harbor, and fells point are all good areas. It's all walking distance.

DC has really changed in the past 10 years, we have been here 30 years and still haven't seen it all. Also we have an awsome subway system.

Personally i would spend 8 days in DC and 2 in Balt.

We traveled to Baltimore when I was a teenager. To the best of my memory there is a fish market kinda indoor mall down there by the Baltimore Harbor with amazing crab legs and cannoli's.

I don't know about crab legs, but Maryland is known for the blue crab. Crabs are out of season right now, but still available.

I've had some really good crab cakes in Balt. Yes, the water front is usually a decent place to be. Fort Mc Henry is a special place and worth seeing. Amazing to stop and think about what went on right there. Although, some of the town really does suck. Listen to your gut.

Spent the day at Fort Mchenry.
Where the war of 1812 took place and the influence of the Star Spangled Banner. Very patriotic day. Just wish my family was as excited as I was.

Nick's Fish House is good, on the water near Insulator and Cromwell, out of the way and kinda hard to find. Good food and drinks. Place gets packed when the Ravens are playing.

Glad you enjoyed Fort McHenry. Not a bad way to spend a few hours. USA!
