I'm a retired USAF aircraft mechanic, l live 30 minutes from there and haven't been there yet.

My house sitters husband had lots to do with development of the museum.

The Enola Gay was restored 15 minutes from where I live. They have been working on it since the early 90's.

Glad you were able to get there. Looks like you are enjoying, despite the weather.

SAY WHAT?!?! It was badass. My father was a US Navy aircraft mechanic as well (F18 hydro’s) for 26 Years. Thank you for your service.
But you need to go!! Some great historical aircraft there. Only takes maybe 2 hours to go through it.

My son goes to Johns Hopkins University & we love visiting Baltimore.

Get a day pass for the water taxis & hit the fort & bar hop Fells Pointe.

I highly recommend spending a day, & maybe stay overnight as well, in Annapolis. Lots of history & establishments from the 1700's. I always thought it was just a Naval Academy but our founding fathers did a lot there.

Eat lots of crab balls & cakes.
