Campbell’s sammi with pasta salad, and Non cheesy type of chips.

Also we carry some of the grown up style lunchables, the artisan ones. Forget the brand.

Can’t forget trail mix too

Fried Chicken.
The kids call it "river chicken" because they mainly only get it on the boat.

Even though I LOVE fried chicken I guess I never once even considered this or seen it.

How do you keep that from becoming a greasy and crumby shit show?

Burritos are eaten with their wrapper containing the drips, and there are no wings or bones holding grease requiring secondary disposal.

No judgment here - just curiosity.

Oranges (clememtines), white grapes, apples and such. Anything with minimal packaging that keeps well in a cooler and doesn't have crumbs or melt!

This last week I stumbled across an old favorite dip I haven’t had in years and am incorporating it into the boating program going forward.

Green Onion Dip! It is great with chips, pretzels, carrots, celery and lots more.

I use a 16oz tub of Sour Cream with chives, and mix in one packet of powdered Green Onion Dip mix. Cheap and easy!

The dip mix is usually near the salad dressing in the grocery store. It takes 45 mins or so to thicken up after you mix it.

What is your favorite easy snack for the boat?
that's my daughters favorite snack...cant leave w/o it.

My wife heated up leftover hamburgers and hot dogs from the 4th in a microwave in the morning. Wrapped them in foil, put them in a small soft cooler, and they were still warm for lunch.

Good stuff.

Broccoli, Cauliflower and Cucumbers with a tub of southern ranch dip, maybe some ham roll ups if I have time in the morning.

OK...Here's one that we created.... Potato Salad Burritos

Tortilla, package of ham slices and a tub of potato salad. It doesn't get easier.

Place a couple slices of ham on the tortilla, put a large serving of store brand potato salad (cold from the cooler) on top and wrap it up. The ham is salty. The potato salad is cold and sweet. The prep consists of buying a package of tortillas, a package of ham and a tub of potato salad! They're awesome!!
