Opening scene of Jaws. Imprinted in my memory.Oh I like this thread.... for me it was unmistakingly The Exorcist around 1975.... I was maybe 15 and a naive and sheltered kid... somehow my older sister decided it a good movie for us.... I remember missing at least 2 school days as a result.
Next would be Jaws around 1976 or so...... I was at family beach house in Delaware and it was a small beach town.... nobody went in water.
Edit: I just re read your post but I'm sticking.... those were my 'Most impactful movies"
Yup. Hence my screen name lol.
Listening to Robert Shaw tell the tail of the Indianapolis was intense.Speaking of Jaws, Clint's Indianapolis speech scene is one for the ages...
Meh, as posted before, i think there is a strong argument for thisSeems to be a common theme, Violence or cars, boats etc..
2 contenders from the same movie
Still cant watch this for fear of it ruining my dayThe scene that literally caused me to jump out of my seat all the way into the theater aisle. I can still hear folks laughing at my scared stoopid 14 yr old ass.
My soft spoken, girl of few words wifes fuse gets lit anytime I say that.2 contenders from the same movie
Yes....Meh, as posted before, i think there is a strong argument for this
