What is “too early” for boat start-up on the Parker Strip?

Looking for more pics of this boat . It’s my boat in the good ol days . Any pics and info would be awesome as this is what I want to paint it when it’s time to restore it .

Yes , that’s the plan . I think she deserves it after a long hard life lol . Within the next few months or end of next season is when I bite the bullet and strip her down and all new stringers , bulk head and new gel or paint . Just got a fresh block for the new build and on the lookout for those mechanical stacks .

All of those pics were from 2 different events. One was ‘85 or ‘86 and the other ‘88. Both at Firebird raceway. Looks like the numbers were green at one time and blue at another.

I wonder if your boat was owned by John Bonnici at one time. He ran the 98 number and name Margaritta ville on his Rayson Crafts.

Good possibility, will have to research it . Going to the regatta in October so hopefully I can talk with Stan and get more info , more the merrier lol .

Lol so do I RM been hunting on the ol interweb looking for any info on this . I even called the GN association in redondo beach and the sent me to the GN boat races on Facebook. So hopefully more info is found there . Fingers crossed lol
