What happened at shogun last night?

We went on the water Fri, Sat, Sun. On the water at 9am and off at 4pm each day. Didn’t wait more than a couple minutes at Windsor each day. Hung in Steamboat/Channel (white sand beach) on Saturday. Hit Topock for brunch Sunday and then over to Pirates. Other than one minor issue it was a great weekend. Plenty of shit show going on in the channel but that’s what we went to watch. Most of the shenanigans were around super soakers and the most footballs I’ve ever seen in one place. 90% of the time people getting balls chucked or getting blasted someone on the boat called for it.

Lived in hawaii the majority of my life...nobu in Caesars is the best sushi I've ever had....along with Nobu on Lanai...you get what you pay for. They have an Ahi salad in Vegas that is nothing short of just WOW.

Might want to check Boise Boat and RV (Gowen Rd and Federal Way) and less than 1/2 mile west, a new set of units are being built, seems to be a very lucrative business around these parts, gotta give it to the Idaho folks they have toys and then some. Not just boats either.

I think the city messed up last year when Covid hit and closed the channel to boats. They let people put up ez up tarps and bring xSx down. Now it’s the norm they think it’s ok to put up an EZ tarp and leave it there all weekend no matter what time it is and block up a bunch of boat parking. It’s really turning into shit show now, really unfortunate!

I agree,... EZ ups should have to go on the side walk level,... or not at all would be even better.. when one of those goes air born and fuc's up a 500k tri toon... guess who will be paying to fix it...

Growing up on the sportfishing boats of SoCal we had many Japanese American passengers. They loved to bring us unbelievable sushi etc made by their wives and moms. That was the real deal before most people had even heard of the stuff. It was outstanding!

I have been laying low all weekend.. Last night I went all in on the fun and went to get frozen yogurt and the shogun parking lot looked about like BJ’s at 2:00 in the morning..

Judging by the looks on the woman’s faces and the 10 cops standing around I’m guessing there was some kinda major brawl that happened in there?

Anyone know for sure?

My wife and Kids were waiting for an Uber right when all of the cops showed. I dont know all of the details but we did see a couple walking quickly and headed across the street to the hotel and dodging the cops. As they walked by us, the girl (clearly wasted) said "She didnt mean to hit the girl that hard" The cops went into Shoguns guns- a-blazin while this couple snuck off across the street.

We saw all of this going down and pulled one of the cops aside and told them the people you are looking for are headed across the street and we described what they were wearing. I dont know if anything came out of it or not.

You are right, their was a shit ton of cops .

I guess I am the odd ball here, I really enjoy Shoguns, so does my wife and kids.

We have a few different tepan places where we live and honestly I dont think they compare to Shogun.... weird I know.

Went again on Monday night, was a great meal and got Sher, our requested chef. He kills it. We brought some friends that haven't been to Shoguns in 10 years. They agreed it was as good as teppan at home.

Great place. I loved it when sitting at the Teppanyaki bar watching the live show as the roaches crawled out of the grease trap, pretty nice how they have them so trained.
