I took my 76 Bronco down the track once. Off the line it was great. Top end is not the rolling brick’s strong suit. Maybe my K10 would give you a good race. It was next in line for some serious love until the 51 showed up.

Got this home today. Going to do a DOD delete on it. Trying to decide if I cam it or not.

What’s the skinny with the clutch upgrades on the 10 speed?

Trans does pretty dang good until you start really pushing it.

I think i would be more concerned with the transfer case at that hp level.

I don't know enough about the low/high pressure fuel systems in the LT4's to give advise but a cam/flex fuel set up where you can still se factory stuff would be nice.

Pretty easy with the right harness. Going with spear tech. They have the FPCM that works with the factory ZL1 pump. I ordered an aluminum tank from Boyds that takes the ZL1 pump. Factory fit.

If I do a cam it will be Stage 1. Mainly for a nice rumble idle.

Cammed Gen 5 LT.

It might be the test mule for a chassis mfg to do long travel set up on.

I was stoked to find a manual, but after driving it and looking up the options, I have looks like it might be better off with an automatic
What cam are you going with?
I’m currently shopping for cams for my two Gen V hoopties…

Likely Texas speed V1. Dod delete & vvt lock out. Unfortunately you have to replace the cam anyway when you ditch the DOD. So might as well get a cool lopey idle out if it.

Yeah DOD delete is behind it for me also…why the VVT lockout?
