I hope Santa/you guys have the opportunity to get something cool for yourself. I’ve wanted a 1st Gen K5 since I was a kid. Looked at a shit load over the years. A couple I should have bought but the timing was wrong.

This one ain’t perfect but it’s a good start. Yesterday was a long day from Scottsdale to Vegas & back. Shit load of rain through wickenberg.

Thx brother! Gonna b awesome. My 16 yr old daughter asked if she could drive it to troll dudes lol! 😂

She’s said it’s a dude magnet lmao!
Dude magnet and daughter in same sentence would be a quick hell no for me. Id do anything for mine but giving her what she calls a magnet for dudes is where I draw the lines. When the time comes I will buy her the most embarrassing car you can get at the time. It will be the opposite of dude magnet.

My spend this year was a little PDR, fresh Linex coating, and extang solid fold 2.0 tonneau coverfor my paid off truck.

The boat got the lions share of funds this year!

Work was really good this year and year end has set up 2024 to start strong!

Did you put a different seat on?
Yes, I ordered some accessories. That was one. I have my normal seat for when I’m alone…but I bought a heated seat w back for my kid to ride with me. I haven’t seen it yet, I’m not going to go get it until late January or I’ll ship it. You can see most of my add ons in this pic or strapped to tunnel.

Next year we will get her a kid sled to start learning.

I have an adrenaline junkie in the making on my hands for sure. I took her in my lap last year trail riding on an Polaris Indy 500, she ate it up.

I honestly don’t know what to expect my dealer buddy told me it was going to be insane power 🤣

I’m tapped for a while now..I’d have to borrow to pay attention 👀🤣

BTW Corey, I looked at the knuckle design and we can do all kindsa stuff with the front brakes on that....pick out your wheels first and then we'll see what we can fit underneath 'em.

It was our turn to host a rotating friends holiday party this year, every 6 years we’re on deck, this was my third time hosting. All the kids are getting big, highschool and college, bringing boyfriends and girlfriends now, soon to be spouses and more kids. Not sure how many more I’ll get to host but I’m gonna progressively step it up each time I get the chance. Pushed some planes out and set up a table for 30, full 20,000 watt dj/karaoke rig, and two flight instructors to give the kids and adult children simulator flight lessons. Had a caterer come in and throw out an amazing spread, it was a great party and everyone had a blast.

So that’s what I got myself this year.🎅

Im jealous… last year the dog we rescued from Turkey dislocated her hip. I put the 8k dollar surgery on my credit card because I wasn’t going to put her down and I didn’t have the cash at the time. Well my 12 months interest free was up so I decided to pay it off with my vacation check. Maybe next Christmas we’ll get to take our trip to Troncones

This year it is all about finishing some long overdue projects and a couple new ones. I have my 505 BBC getting the new heads worked so I can drop it in the 51 Chevy. New Heidt's front suspension, 68 Camaro rear end and the kit to hang it, 700R4 will be done after Christmas. The 503 for the pulling truck is at MidAmerican Racing getting the 14:1 Ohio Crankshaft rotating assembly with splayed mains installed and if the Cam comes in from Chris Straub, we'll dyno it right after the first of the year. This one goes into the 82 GMC square body that I'll be trying my hand at truck pulling with. And the county has sent my plans for the shop addition to the county attorney to confirm my interpretation of the building permit laws so I can add on to the shop without jumping through extra hoops, which will be my happy new years gift to me.

Oh shes correct.... I bought a 72' K5 for a surfer girl when she was 19 and we never put top on... it was sawed off at windshield straight back with a rollbar. She'd come home telling me how "boys" would grab the bar at a red light in Huntington and plop right up into the rear bench seat with her and her surfer buddy gf in front. She loved that thing.

Ha.... well lets see [no pics] You guys knowing Newport may know a floating fish barge called Pearsons Port in Back Bay. She was summer help as their niece and I was just divorced and in rut like a friggin elk. I buy seafoof there and stumbled into her teenage cuteness and moved her in maybe 2 weeks later. She lasted a year and then grabbed another older guy up in Utah and had a whoopsy [now 18 yr old daughter]... married the guy, had a son [now 16] and says she's gonna divorce him in 2 years and come take care of my aging ass in old age. She's around 40 now so doubt that'll fit my plan. Wish I did have some pics actually.

Man, I guess I'm upper middle class poor.

Gonna get myself an M18 Milwaukee cordless router. Gonna go all out and get the big one with both 1/4 and 1/2 collet and the kit with plunge adapter!!!!!

Poor folks (Bayliner owners) just get the 1/4" model only.

Bought plane tickets to visit and spend Christmas with my mom and sisters for the first time in almost 25 years. Work was always in the way unfortunately.

Just got in my seat.

Merry Christmas.

No need to be jealous. You bought yourself time, and had the ability to do so. Both last year, and able to pay off this year. Nothing wrong with that. Lots of things I'd love to buy or have, but goals don't have to be made of things. Sometimes time and funds are in your favor, other times they're not. As long as the family is happy, you win.

Not for Christmas but I’m thinking around tax time. Ive got every gun I could want years ago but every now and then something new comes out that catches my eye. I have a fetish for 9mm carbines
