There's a good reason why GM came out with crate engines.
99 Silverado. Had a 4" lift with 33's.

Nailed my 1st girlfriend in ever seat of the truck.

Then throughout high school, had plenty more chicks leave their clam juices

Got a good story. I had 2 chicks in the back seat 1 evening. 1 chick is riding me as I am making out with the other. All of a sudden the chick on me looks at her friend and says "I need to fix my wig". I'm like whaaaaat?!?!?! I threw that chick off and grabbed the other chick and threw her on the D

My very 1st car of course. 😁 A nine year old, very low mileage gray and white '57 Ford 4 door station wagon I'd bought from my dad when I turned 16.
312 CI/ 4 barrel, tank rolling on tires. 🤣
Perfect for hauling our rock band equipment and equally suited for those hot nights parked in the Tustin foothills, overlooking the lights of the town and cities below.
You could see all the way to Disneyland with ease and watch the summer night fireworks, everybody just banging away 😁 --- which of course today are covered 'nut-to-butt' with homes.
First car, another first for both us being virgins, and finally my first car crash ---- three major firsts in that ole '57, which deserved better than being totaled up at Lake Arrowhead. But that tank bitch took out three parked cars before it tried to unsuccessfully take out a pine tree with about a 5' diameter trunk
But alas that 312 went on to spend more years powering a '57 Ranchero after it replaced the original 292. 😁
You're as old as I am, same deal, I bought my dad's hand me downs. I got smart in my early teens and steered him toward cars I'd want in a few years.

From that wagon, that buying hand-me-downs from Dad thing had gravitated to boats. 😆
I feel incredibly blessed for not only the 'Where', but the 'When' in which I was raised. We weren't wealthy, but I'd be hard pressed, if it were even possibly, to imagine a more richly rewarding family and childhood.
If I only knew then what I do now, I wouldn't have been such a "Dick Head" brat at times. If I have any regrets, it's not expressing that sufficiently prior to my parents passing.

this is a fun thread. Thanks Joe! btw my first time was in an old Willys in our field behind the house. I was worried about black widows I had never heard or crabs. Damn that Sally Pelter!

Fun is what life's all about! 👍👍

My moms old 02 Ford Explorer. Probably the lamest car in this thread lol.

First car that was actually mine would be my 04 GTO. It having bucket seats in the back made it almost impossible, still made for some great memories.

Not my first but most likely second. Roof off at the drive in. Assuming we put on a show around us,,,,

First would be a VW Rabbit.

First time in a car was my buddies Isuzu rodeo. Best time was a jeep Wrangler. The roll bar opens up a ton of possibilities.

For some reason I pictured you in your Luv Truck with a mini truck club Troll named ''Shot Gunn'' :)

No Luv truck. 3/4 ton GMC.

It had a small block and Still ate more gas than my 460 1ton! Jezus I was glad to get rid of that truck!!! 😱🤣

So many women, so many cars, and so many years ago. It’s hard to say which one was first and with who . I’m thinking that it was probably a 1970 XR7 or a 72 Gran Torino but I had lots of options back then so I can’t be sure.

I had to remember what the 1st car I owned that was used as a hotel room...1883 Mustang GLX, T-top, white with red interior. Fogged the windows solid, and was too busy to notice the car pull up...until the Deputy tapped his Maglight on the driver's window:eek:

Old enough now to know he was laughing like hell with his trainee. After checking my ID and her student ID, we were told to move along;) Always wondered how long they waited to tap the glass.
Had a very disturbing encounter with a cop that way local lakes boat launch on a weeknight no one around. Took me a year to get my girl comfortable and he killed it in one night. Snuck up on us and hit my window like he was trying to break it, I put my shirt up so she could get dressed and he kept yelling take it down.

Got us out of the car and started preaching, took our phone numbers and told my girl he was calling her parents to tell them what a tramp they were raising.
My girl bawled for days and he never called.

That's just plain mean! I'm near positive this guy had a few years of service under his belt. He was "old"...probably about my age now...mid to late 40's🤣 No drugs, no booze, just a couple of teenagers doing what teenagers used to do.

This guy was scary, had that whole religious indignation thing going on.
My girl was truly frightened by him.

Another time a little later Cop hits the window, rolled it down and he say's "how old are you two"....His answer was your old enough to have a place to live, get there. :D
