Hit a little bit of LA today. Newhall to West Hills to West Covina. Gotta love so cal traffic. Would much rather have been in Havasu “traffic.” View attachment 1120596

Yeah, the Havasu traffic….The Del Taco AND The parking near the channel. Wanted to see how things were going at the Channel around 11am yesterday. Figur I’s go to the dirt lot near the channel looking for a spot in the Jeep. 4 cars following me to the dead end. I stop start backing up. One car figures it out and start waving the two other cars back. they just sit there. Not biggie I pull a u-turn and face them. At that point the figure it out and start moving.I pull around them moving forward as they try to back up their big Trucks. Yeah, havasu traffic is much more fun. LOL

Took the grandson and his friend to Irwindale night of destruction. Decent show and great fireworks finally.

We’ll be on Lake Mohave Sunday through Thursday. Staying in Laughlin. Having just gotten everybody over Covid, I’m ready for a vacation.

Unfortunately we had to move our trip to June 6-10. Wife had to go to the ER yesterday. She’s fine now but it fucked our plans. Luckily I was able to move the hotel, slip and dog hotel reservations to next week.

Going big blue out of SD. Don’t know how far we will go with gas prices. Maybe just take the dingy out bar hoping.

Figured out how much fuel was at the gas dock.

the pool party turned into more of a BBQ the weather didn’t cooperate. Still had a good time hanging out with all the friends.
