Heading to KOA in Williams tomorrow till Sunday. Then off to South Dakota till Friday. Then to Yellow Stone for a week then to Salt lake for a couple days. From there we will make our way home staying in. Southern UT maybe Vegas then home. Be about a 3 weeker.

Taking the toyhauler out to its spot at Bluewater for the summer tomorrow afternoon. I sold the boat but kept my storage for my father in laws boat. We'll be out in parker all weekend, we'll see how busy it is. I figure it can't be worse than the previous years where every weekend seemed like a holiday during covid.

Flying to Dallas this morning to do check on the house build and do a walkthrough with the electrician and cabinet maker. We'll fit in some pool time, smoking some meat and a couple cocktails I'm sure!

Headed to Verde Ranch RV Resort and going to stay in a luxury wagon. Do some hiking, maybe take a train ride or do some kayaking. Just trying to relax and enjoy some down time.

I will say that normally we will pick a one of the 3 day weekend and call it a dock party day......boats are in docks, no driving any of them, captain gets to drink and literally make blended concoctions...normally that day is where most of the memories are made...we have mastered the Fox's style mudslides and big sticks pretty damn well....these dock party days normally last well into the night....good times...

Flying to Sacramento Friday morning for an aunt and uncles 50th anniversary party Saturday evening, home sunday night. Monday hoping to finally get the boat summerized and maybe a lake test if it's warm enough. It's finally starting to get warm here in N Idaho. Today is the first day of the year we're supposed to see 70+ degrees.

Amateur Weekend Deluxe...Were going to the river next weekend. Should be fairly quiet.

Because of the Harbor onslaught of human powered craft in Dana we wont be going down there either. Ridiculously difficult to motor in or out with all the SUP riders that don't know boating rules.

I tip my hat to those who have the patience and keen skills which never tire for weekends on the water such as this one.

I will be knee deep in the home projects. pre planned, no Home Depot trips.

I can feel the pain. We booked this 10 months ago and that’s the only reason we are leaving, if I didn’t I would have not left work. Have projects going on all over the country and a guy in the office is out on medical. Crew guys wanting time off.

After reading a couple other threads. I was wondering how many of us actually plan on boating this weekend. Being that the majority of the group is experienced boaters, life long boaters, people in the industry, and generally not brand new to boating.

Personally, living in the Keys, we will have the Lilly pads in, and paddle boards. Possibly a boat on Monday. Friday to Sunday. No way. Going to the bars, no way. Too many people, too many rookies.

We’ve shopped all week. Going to grab a couple more things tonight, I have a few loose ends to tie up, and then we are going into relax mode.

Nope. My gear is too nice for it.

Too many newbies, lice, and clueless this weekend to participate.

Using this as grilling and chilling unwind time.

Personally I’m not even interested in boating this year. I’d rather just book a tee time, golf and go back to the house. I’m realizing how much work it is for such little enjoyment.
If i want to fish, it’s pretty easy to take the truck to the shoreline and not worry about anchoring or the gosh dang surf boats.

Hurry up and get that pool done grandpa so you can start your water aerobics!

Wife does not want to go which means a solo opportunity weekend for me but I feel like working on my house instead. Plus if I go solo I have to make the bed myself which sucks. And she'll make me take the dog. lol
