Brother has one of those. Not AMG. His DD for a long time. Suspension tune, dropped, SS headers he built, ground cams, Comp TA’s, more. Also has an AMG motor for it, but will probably never get installed. There’s a video of him on Big Willow beating guys up on Cobra club track day somewhere. Definitely cool cars.

I’ve driven a 250 gto. Definitely a drivers experience just sitting in it while it was running. Nobody in the shop would move it, she was a finicky bitch, and with a dual disc ( I think?) the clutch was like a NASCAR, off or on. Would have like to get it on the open road.

Good choices. I think the Miura is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

When I was young the 275 GTB was one of my dream cars.

A few years later the 365 GTB came out and when I read Brock Yates's account of he and Dan Gurney doing the Cannonball in one it became my new lust after car.

These are multi million dollar cars now so no longer attainable for the average guy.
The Daytona is definitely my dream car. While still extremely expensive, you can get a decent example for $600k. I watched one go at no reserve on BaT a couple years back at 425. In retrospect, likely a smoking deal. Nice to occasionally dream..

Cars are so cool. Nice Chevelle!
HS car. '61 Olds Super 88 394, 345. Free! 110 mph.

'65 Impala 2door, 283/pg. $250. Motor ended up in an Econorail.

I always liked the '66 yellow and black Chevy Malibu convertible that a drunk Uncle wrapped up that donated the replacement motor for the Impala.

Never been a big fan of the GTO's, always preferred the SWB's.

Around 1976 Rick Quant bought a 1956 Power Wagon at a Forest Service auction, I think he paid about $1,200 for it. It had a monster 6 cylinder engine, and in low 4WD it would climb just about anything.

Roo called it the Green Geek. We took it out rabbit hunting on the mesa at night. This was when the mesa began at Montgomery on the south and I-25 on the west and ran all the way up to the base of the Sandias. There were three of us standing in the bed hanging on to the headache rack with 12 gauge shotguns, and another person in the cab with a spotlight.

We would be hauling ass up arroyos and flying over dirt roads chasing the rabbits, barely hanging on and trying to shoot at the same time. It's a miracle no one was shot.

The truck looked like this one. It was a lot of fun.

In the 90's, Larry and Claudia Jeffery, that owned Rock Canyon Marina at the Butte, had a white 56 Power Wagon with a PTO winch that they used to move the marina in/out as the water levels changed. I always wanted that thing sooooo bad. When they sold the Marina, they took the Power Wagon with them. This reminded me I need to drive out to their house and see if they still have that sucker! They might be finally ready to get rid of it!!!

Graham Hollywood Supercharged.

View attachment 1202223

Time Magazine called it the ugliest car ever built.

My friend owns Hollywood Garage in Port Coquitlam BC. He owns this Graham. I think I took the pic a while back. I'm trying to find frontal pic later.

My friend Gerald still has this bicycle hangin on the wall in the garage, his dad who was born in 1918 owned.
His dad in the jumpsuit with the bike. I think he lived to 100.👍

I have so many cars I want it is hard to pick but THE ONE, the exact one, for me....

It is history, it is art, it is perfect.

If I was a billionaire I would street drivee it, share it at cars and coffee type events, let kids (and big kids like me) climb all over it.

@Tank

Mine was a real drivers car! No power steering manual windows, and a/c. I had 10in mtx behind the seat and 12 in the back with the carpet kit and custom stripe graphics on the side. I’ll see if I can dig up some actual pictures.

1933-34 Ford 3 window coupe, full fendered, 2 inch chop. (wanted a deep chop but found out I am too tall damn it)
Wanted one since I was a little kid, and saw the pics of the cars my Dad raced in the 40s-50s.

1970-73 Camaro, RS or fake Z28.

Every time this topic comes up I try to add the following....

There is a very special El Camino out there I have been watching for for 25 years.
It is a 1970 SS 396 Muncie 4-speed, deep metallic green, white stripe cowl induction hood. Bench seat. Black interior. It was sold new by Cormier Chevrolet to Lee Marley of Long Beach. He was my neighbor. I had a chance to buy the car in 1979, but I was piss broke, drilling water wells and going full time to college, and I couldn't make it happen.
He sold the car back to Cormier Chevrolet. It had less than 20k on it and had been garaged all it's life. Lee doesn't have anything with the VIN on it.
If any of you know the whereabouts of this car, or think you might, I'd sure appreciate a PM.

The El Camino, or one like it is dream , tied with the 34. The Camaro is another option. I am getting old and don't want a builder, I want a driver.
I am going to give it my all to make this happen next year, while I can still enjoy it.

1990 AMG Hammer Coupe widebody with the 6.0 motor. 😍 I fell in love with these cars back then when I was in highschool and had a longtime neighbor who was a dealer in classic and the exotic cars of that era so I was really spoiled with cool test rides growing up. But the day he took me for a ride in a Hammer Coupe is just one that always stayed with me. This blue example is by far the best looking one i've ever seen hands down.

Of course. This is a realistic dream car that I will 100% own soon.

61 or 62 rag Impala. Bagged or lifted I’ll have a set of 22’s and a set of Daytons at the ready. 😁

You guys have good taste in cars! 👍😁

A lot of these cars are going to be dream cars and made of unobtanium. Could never afford to buy them or maintain and drive them.

How about cars that you might actually be able to buy someday (or already own).?

I'm sure you'd approve this purchase, even though it has fenders, the way I like them.;):p

Luv it. That is perfect for what I want to build. I’d probably extend the wheel base about 10 inches to make room for some more motor goodness.
.
You really wouldn't have to. 10 inches is a lot (that's what she said. 🤣) and you'd have to lengthen the frame or have a severe suicide front end. Just move the seats back a bit and recess the firewall. You could fit a BBC or even a Hemi with a blower just by cutting back the firewall a couple inches. Or just move the radiator forward slightly. Here's my old '34 with a blower on it. I just moved the radiator forward a few inches and you can see, there was plenty of clearance. A big block isn't any longer than a SBC.

I don't think I have any real "Holy Grail" cars on my list, I kinda just figure it out as I go along. I wouldn't mind getting a K5, I have owned several and I am always looking at them. I would have never dreamed I would own the cars I do now, in a way these are my "Holy Grail" rides. I ended up taking my '78 Vette to Havasu a couple months ago because I ran out of room here and I have driven it more there.
