So does anyone else ever have this pop-up in this thread? Don’t know what the issue is and I probably won’t be able to see the answer because this is all I see if I try to advance anywhere but the first page. Maybe I’ve been banned.

Yes, but only on a phone. You need to let the page load fully before scrolling through it. It gives you that error when it runs out of memory or bandwidth...due to all the videos and their large sizes.

It gets worse as the page receives more posts, and it clears up nicely at the start of a new page.

Cliff notes: Slow down, mang.

@Flyinbowtie brought up the song "Green Grass and High Tides" in the GOAT song thread, so I've been listening to that song obsessively lately on YT, and this vid shows up on my feed...

Check out these kids, they're having a blast and they f'in kill it! Watch the bass player, she looks about 8 years old playing a full size bass and almost looks like she's about to tip over...! She pulls out some pretty impressive stage moves and busts out the metal face a bunch of times...! The music is serious and the ending is hilarious!

Well damn. End of an era for Blondie.

Clem Burke, their kick ass and legendary drummer is dead at age 70 from cancer.

We were lucky enough to have seen Blondie with Clem at Cruel World in 2022.

And they returned to Cruel World in 2024 with a more polished show and killed it. As http404 will attest - probably the best act at the festival. (Ministry also blew me away)

Whatever cancer it was took him fast because he looked great in 2024.

This guy was respected by everybody in the biz, including Debbie Harry, who always gave him accolades about his drumming prowess at every show.

He also played with the Romantics and countless other big names, and fashioned his style after Hal Blaine, the famous Wrecking Crew session drummer (who played on 40 #1 hits).

Such a bummer, but Godspeed and thanks for the music.
