Shop was quiet today but still a very nice young lady willing to sell you merch and a tech willing to talk some shop, so all good!
cars look great just waiting for replacement transmissions. Glad they found the issues relatively early and getting them squared away..

Ahh they moved them all from last week when I was in there. Maybe it’s close to new transmission time :)

This site is full of experts on all things. Facts qualify the statements Dave. Hisun makes and imports more things into this country than Polaris, or Can Am.

The tarrifs from China are higher than other countries that are able to make the cars. This isn’t my “wheelhouse” it is simple research, business 101, and listening to the available information.

Exactly my point Dave. Why are there different rules for me, but everyone has to abide by the same rules? 🤣

The other thread went the exact same direction without my participation. I didn’t turn any of the other threads into anything on my own.

Well I will happily explain it..

Because I said so.. if your feeling cheated on the explanation I can actually explain it all out but ray charles can see why so I’m sure you can too.

I searched through all my tool boxes.. I went through all my garage cabinets.. I’ve looked everywhere but apparently I’m out of fucks to give. 😳🤪🤪

I’m so sick of the negativity and arguing about this speed car.. we are down to the way it sounds now..

Everyone needs to grow the fuck up.

My only statement was it is clearly not the same rules for everyone… because you said so. We seem to be in violent agreement there.

Dave, all I have done today is provide some information regardless if it is right or wrong, look at the responses. It’s plain to see who wants to talk and discuss the car and who wants to argue for the sake of arguing.

Ray Charles can see I’m not the problem with the Speed thread and different rules for different people has not solved a thing. Besides, all the “arguing” on my side for the most part has been a joke.

By the way, it was the heat treating of the gears that caused the transmission failures. Gears failed and that forced parts out of the cases. Sean from Weddle said that was the root cause of the failures. The thickening of the cases is to prevent damage like what happened on the debut ride from hard bottom outs and to keep things together in the event of internal trans failure. The case was not the root cause.

Polaris trans cases explode in similar fashion when a bearing goes bad, the gears on the shafts force each other to exit the building when they are not retained.

I appreciate the info Ashley can provide with validity however the Shell Answerman he does not need to be to each counterpoint. Sometimes silence proves more.

Mr. Charles, you are in the wrong thread.

This one is for people with accurate info or legitimate questions.

You tend to argue to argue.. it isn’t so much the points it’s the delivery which is always combative..

Which was my ray Charles comment. Most of what you say isn’t wrong.. it’s the delivery that makes people want to beat you like a piñata online

Maybe I'm the odd guy here. LOF doesn't bother me with his posts. I understand how his posts are 'argumentive' in some fashion.

But on here, yesterday I think, lof and myself were leaving post. A few jumped in like it was some bashing shit show. It was far from that. But when those shorts posts were made the thread instantly went south. LOF didn't take it south yesterday. Yes he was wrapped up in it. Pulled in riptide style.

This was yesterday. Maybe I need to go back and read today.
If LoF is 5 on a scale to 10 then grads was a 90.
Yes he is know it all. We all are. 100% he likes to poke the bear in a unique way.

Dave is pretty accurate on this. Could be the approach. Unfortunately now if the approach changes to soften things guys will still create the rip tide to pull him in.

Maybe try LOF2. 😁

Also don't run him off yet, still owes me beer

I haven’t been “arguing” in the other thread.. yet it has ended up the same way. People arguing to argue (hilariously by the way) and once again, most of the people with actual information have been driven out or don’t participate.

I’m not combative unless someone engages in combat. Not all discussion, debate and arguments are combative, or serious.

Saying Hisun makes more stuff than Polaris isn’t arguing.. it is a statement. Agree, disagree or ignore.

Getting emotionally wound up to the point of name calling over a statement is ridiculous on its face. I take it as a joke.

“Go be poor somewhere else” comes to mind 🤣

Letting GRADS back over and over is another.

If people can’t take a joke or are reading something into a post that isnt there, it isn’t my problem. Nor is it your problem if they lose their mind over you letting GRADS come back for the 600th time..because it’s your name at the top and you say that there are different rules for different people.

If you want to fix the negativity around this subject and general tone here, applying the rules consistently in all areas of the forum is the place to start. You have an entire combative subforum that argues just to argue. Yet when that same demeanor and attitude pops up in the lounge people are aghast 🤣.

Since you didn’t know that there was another factory until a couple days ago, I don’t think you’ve gained any information since I stopped providing it :)

I’m happy with what I’ve seen and experienced regarding the early production cars for the extreme discount I’m getting. Look for prices to go up again next dirt season.

I said year(s) ago.. the longer these take to debut, the better off I (we) are.

I’m back to I don’t want the car until September/October 2023. :)

What a joke this whole thing is. The subject matter is NOT the ISSUE. The PEOPLE are, as always.
There are sooooo many self rightous, massive egos in here (RDP) coupled with a shit ton of attitude, anger etc. There will likely never be agreement ever on any subject. Some PEOPLE have to be RIGHT...ALWAYS....info/facts be damned. Some PEOPLE have to have the LAST WORD.....ALWAYS.....
ANGRY people can't ever seem to let shit go, chill etc. Couple that w/massive egos and self rightous attitudes and well......here you are. Lol
Carry on boys......haha
Crazy fuggin peoples.....😁😁🤣🤣

Its more of a joke, but like I said. I’m not “arguing” in the other thread 😉.

Are you insulting people by telling them
to “Be poor somewhere else” ? Lol.

I am amazed at how one obvious joke is getting so much traction..

Because it is a delightfully perfect example of my point. People said you were arguing, you say it was just a joke.

Many people said it before you, but their name was not at the top of the page, so you got the spotlight.

Dave - crack the ban hammer and make it stop. This will end up just like all the other Speed threads if allowed to continue. I hate censorship except in this case.....lol. 😃

So you want everyone in the 3rd speed thread banned?

Or just rules for thee but not for me I see. 🤣.

If you don’t want negativity about Speed Cars, stop being negative about them.

22 years in the boat forums and this is a first.
Someone arguing with RD that they are not arguing with RD.

RD and I aren’t arguing. We seem to be in agreement.

People can’t take jokes, and there are different rules for different people here.

In the spirit of providing actual information, I was just told that my sub 500 car was currently estimated to arrive in the late June to July timeframe this year.

Lets see what happens :)

I predict I will have to drive this one to my house on the hottest day of the year, probably around 3PM.

Speed thread #3 and Hastings needs to be closed. Replace it with two threads.

Speed UTV. 👍

Speed UTV 👎

Very few are opening to them to get info. The huge majority is looking to punch people nuts. It’s entertaining as hell but it’s run it’s course.
