Research "leaky vaccines".

It’s not much more than a theory, where the authors sought to prove it in 1 study with chickens. Does not change my understanding that viruses get weaker, with mutation, in the overwhelming number of cases.

Furthermore we are seeing it with COVID. Delta, while more easily spread, is less severe in all of the clinical studies I’ve seen.

So different strains of virus going around now couldn't account for that? Weaker virus less hospitalizations maybe, no?

They'll isolate which strains do what using genomic sequencing.

Delta is stronger from an R0 factor, its clocking in at R4 where the original strain was about 2.0

from a hospitalization & death standpoint it appears to be about the same.

Statistics was one of my favorite classes in college and the sample group for the study is a joke.

But most only believe studies that favor their way of thinking, carry on!

Agree

It's called confirmation bias, You and I both have our minds made up so this is pointless.

I just got over the virus and thankfully it was mild for my wife and I. I would say half of the current cases in network of friends and family are from poeple who are vaccinated. That includes a pretty fit 62 year old who was hospitalized for 5 days.

This thread started out mirroring what the study shows as the OP said he was having way worse symptoms this time around after being vaxxed.

Carry on !

Prove it.

If you had the shot and are now spreading it to others because you think you dont have it. Are you stopping it or making it worse.

If you think masks prevents you from spreading covid and the shot gives you a false sense of security are you doing more harm than good.

aGain if wearing a mask makes you think you are protecting others and choose to go out when sick are you doing more harm than good.

if you are working around fine dust do you put on a covid mask or do you wear some type of respirator like an n95.

You can see it blunts all three efficacies in my post above. (infection, hospitalization, death)

John Campbell puts up the proof using US, UK and Isreali data.

Vax reduces infection, but its hard to find data on how much it may or may not reduce transmission.
We know patients with higher viral loads tend to be more transmissive and symptomatic.

Mask only help a little bit.

Working around dust I use an N95.

Natural Immunity....
If you had it and got over it naturally DO NOT get Vaccinated.

Pre existing condition not vaccinated...
Good luck...cant say I would get vaccinated or not...its a crap shoot.

No pre existing condition and never got it...
Good luck on your decision...its a crap shoot.

Side effects of the vaccine are real everyone, especially with young people. The possibility of heart and brain swelling among young people is well
documented. My Son and I both had it last year...Son had no problem...I struggled but no hospitalization. I know a handful of people that had it and got vaccinated months later only to get sicker than when they had covid.

FDA approved or not...it is still EXPERIMENTAL!!!

Imagine a Vaccine that does not stop the spread of the disease, nor the disease itself...the vaccinated are spreading the Variants.

Viruses naturally will mutate to a weaker strain. Today’s common cold is a version of a much stronger virus that has mutated to what we know as a stuffy nose and terrible cough today.

It’s in the viruses best interest to mutate to a weaker version of itself because to sustain its life it needs to make sure its host continues to survive so it can survive itself.

If developed in a lab all bets are off...

I wouldnt say that, but also wouldnt say its not a real vaccine

No one at RDP has made an actual case it isnt.
Perhaps it would be better to say that it’s not a traditional vaccine. Traditional vacations use a weakened or dead virus that allows our immune system to identify the invading virus, at which point we begin building proteins that can better deal with it.
MRNA “vaccines” skip over the part where our bodies determine the best way for us to deal with the invading virus and direct our immune system to build a protein that some scientists have determined is the best way to fight the virus.
It could end up being the greatest boon to medicine since penicillin or we may all end being half breed crocodile people in a few year’s.
Regardless of the future outcome, the choice that we make should be our own and not dictated to us.

Again for covid, I got it a year ago and only had extreme fatigue. Since then I have received the vaccine and was told that if I do infact get the virus after getting the vaccine the symptoms will be less severe....

View attachment 1041290

So far I have low grade fever, sinus issues, muscles aches, headache and extreme fatigue, I am definitely way worse than last time. We have all been wearing our masks at work for the last 2 weeks as several of us (myself included) are up for promotion and they have said if you are caught without a mask you would not get promoted.

I have not been anywhere in 9 days except work but one our guys returned last week from Mexico.

If I stop posting then I'm in the hospital, my wife has a couple numbers that she can send updates to.

See you on the other side.
Checking in... looks like thread went off rails a bit .... its been about ten days since you began thread.... how's the symptoms today?

Feeling great. Still a little fatigued and still no taste or smell.

Wife and daughter are doing well. Both feel better today than the last 2 days and no fever yet today. My son continues to be symptom free and test negative.

Thanks for responding. RDP has got a couple threads that serve folks well related to real life Covid experiences. I went back to your original post .... do I have this right; you felt like you had Covid originally, got vaxed subsequently regardless and later got Covid again after a co worker returned from a trip? Is that about correct from data standpoint?

This thread was great. Now it sucks.

Glad you are feeling well @4Waters

Have you though about trying the burnt orange voodoo for your smell and taste? I have 2 friends that said it worked for them. These are people I have no reason to doubt. I remain extremely skeptical and figure it was a coincidence but worst case scenario is that you ate an orange and nothing happened.

Not picking on you at all... just partying today ... so I looked up your remedy idea off TikTok and figure I'll ask a couple of my young funster gals over.... we'll bbq some oranges and I'll ask if they'll be cool with us sticking some burnt oranges up their butts... gently & lubed of course. Like you said, worse that can happen is they got some oranges up their butts. Just an average Wednesday kinda..... back to the partying

Give it try !

I tried it and did not notice any immediate difference but others have had good results. At least you will be able to say you have eaten a cooked orange.

I was positive 7/23 and smell was 100% gone by 7/28. I would say it came back 85% and is improving slowly.

You are welcome to put whatever you want up yore ass (ask Grads). Merica!

While I will admit that it is a stretch, there is some potential science behind it. Smell training is something that people are using to try to get their smell/taste back. This could be a sorta weird way to do it. Recipe and explanation inside:

Do know if this is common, but I wake up every night with pain in my lower back each side above my waste line. I also get a nagging pain in my hips. My routine is to get up, since I can’t stay still and get in a hot shower take some Motrin and back to sleep. This has been going on for the last 4 nights.

Does it go away during the day?

The first and only time I had back pain I couldn't get to go away or localize - it turned out to be kidney cancer.

Drinking water and vitamin water during the day and visit the urinal quite often. Typically ok during the day but pain does ramp up with temp increase.

I had a meeting in Fort Lauderdale last Friday, so I decided to fly the kids (young adults) out and we would go to the NASCAR race up at Daytona.
Friends gave us crap for going to Florida since it is such a 'hotspot'. Well, Sunday morning my middle son woke up congested. He figured it was just allergies from being in Florida and we had done a lot. Daytona, Gatorland, Kennedy Space Center etc. in a day and a half. The kids flew home on Sunday afternoon. Monday morning he woke up with no taste or smell and tested positive on the at-home test. He brought the Covid with him to Florida. I spent lots of time in the rental car with him, so I'm just waiting to get my Florida Covid that actually came from California. We are vaxxed.

The smell thing is funny. I got it and brought it home to the wife, I had worse pneumonia and temps, but she lost her sense of smell and taste. At least we made it through it, but that no oxygen crap was for the birds. I was below 75% blood/oxygen level for a while and I don't think she ever dropped below 89%. I think I'll tell the wife to try the orange trick. If she doesn't shoot me, what can it hurt?

My half assed doctor told me to monitor my ox. He said go to hospital if under 92%. As for other things to treat this, he said use over the counter cold meds. I felt like he didn’t want to be bothered with it. When I’m better I will be looking for new doctor. Without this site I would be lost and have a bunch of unanswered questions.

Oh yeah! I would wake up coughing and I think it was my body trying to jump start my lungs. Not a lot of phlegm initially so just coughing for no real reason. I would take some very deep breaths and get up and walk around, sucked down more zinc and Elderberry. Started sleeping in a powered lift chair so I was more upright. I did resort to taking Doxycycline that I had left over from a deployment. On line said it would help with raspatory complications, so I gave it a go. It did seem to help turn the breathing corner. Tomorrow is a week from cleared to go back to work and O2 levels are still not up past 98% and drop to low 90s sometimes. But, I fell 100% better than when I had it and I usually stay 95% or above now. Doc said I could have the cough and slight pneumonia for a month or more.

And I agree, if you aren't vax'd and willing to just follow the party lies, the doctors don't really want to do anything for you. Asking for Hydro Chloroquine was like asking the doc to quit practicing medicine. The info on this site was more help than the doc. Get out in the sun, force yourself to move, vitamin D3, zinc, C, Elderberry Sambucas, and an extra Aspirin to prevent blood clots. Drink a plenty of water to keep from getting dehydrated.

Good to know. I am having some breathing issues lately. O2 levels are fine, blood pressure good, but my lungs feel "tired". I have to work a little harder to breath the last few weeks. Its not persistent, kind of o an off. Negative for COVID, went to urgent care last week(COVID Negative again), they did an EKG and blood tests because I had some pain/slight pressure in my chest. Everything came back normal. They prescribed me an inhaler and sent me on my way, I felt like they didn't want me there. A week later and my lungs are improving but something doesn't feel right. Now Im back to my primary for a virtual visit. I can breathe, but I definitely have something going on. Wondering if its a COVID hangover from December or the Monoclonal I received that was revoked for use after the fact? Need to get some answers so I can move forward with life. Annoying to say the least. Dr's don't seem like they care unless your dying....

Had a buddy with similar issues. Multiple negative tests, his wife (medical Covid researcher) ended up pushing for a lung sample (he called it a scrap) and that test came back positive for Covid. Finally ruled Covid pneumonia and treatment started.

I was diagnosed with COVID Pneumonia the first time around in December. I was not given any treatment or prescribed medication for recovery. Just sent home and told to take over the counter meds until I feel better. 🤷‍♂️

Stanford removed the stent in my carotid artery that was failing. I had the vaccine in April of 2021. If anyone was at risk of blood clots from it, it was me. No issues.

was it inflamed?
