Thanks for the extra pics.The boat runs pretty strong with a iron block/heads motor on race gas.My plans (if it works out $$$) is to build a Alky motor and maybe go racing.Rakin and Tommy did a great job building this boat.I also think I paid a fair price (not asking price) with the boat and enclosed trailer.Thanks for the great comments.......

It is a FE motor, has the original edelbrock logs as well. I have the original Shelby motor from the boat as well, it was a gift from Carroll Shelby to my father in law back in 65 or so.

The restoration was completed 3 months before he died, attached is the pic we took of him on the boats maiden voyage.

Driving the boat was his best friend of over 60 years
