Here's my take on what might unfold. Putin is backing the Russian sympathizer population in Eastern Ukraine to set up a buffer[ I'm quite sure larger percentage compared to Ukranians there now, since the Crimea deal ] and will wait it out to see a new, friendlier Ukranian president replacing the one in charge as of now. Don't think Putin wants to take whole Ukraine, he knows that might take to a real war, rest of Europe join in. Ego or not ,he's not stupid.
When we had the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, the USA and the allies hands were tied, hence Hungary was part of the Warsaw Pact. I remember during the fights in my old country, freedom fighters pleading on radio broadcast for help against the Russians. It never came in form of weapons. Only saw Red Cross, distributing new/used clothes donated from various western countries. After the fights ended, Russian solders at various locations handing out Swiss chocolate to kids like me, standing around their armoured vehicles. Arming the Ukraine with even more lethal weaponry, would prolong fighting much longer, taking out civilians, no one wants to see.
Our uprising in 1956 was over relatively quick, still resulting loss of lives of freedom fighters, Relatively low civilian casualties, we all hunkered down in the shelters.
Still, it was a long time for Hungary to rid of Russian occupation until 1989, but daily lives and less political hardship was easing slowly, bit by bit.
Moving into Ukraine with NATO troops would be suicidal, not warranted to start WW3.

One of my memories I never forget, there was a headquarter of Russian troops near our apartment we walked over to during ceasefire. As most kids, we were admiring military related stuff, we were visiting this headquarter and befriended a Russian who invited me and my buddy to look inside his armored vehicle. He's name was Bob.🤣🤣 We went to see him again days later and was told, he was transferred, lol.
Don't forget, there were as young as 14-15 yrs old who joined the revolutionaries. One of my neighbour too, who we never seen him again, after it was all over.

Only problem is Putin declared the break away regions further west then the current front line area, so he claimed the entire states and not just the actual control regions He has to push a hundred plus kilometers to get to what he just claimed and the Ukrainian defense forces are not gonna just sit there and take that. Expect 122mm Grads to start shelling first.

What would happen if Russia, NATO, and China started blasting Satellites, with lasers, in space?

Maybe that rocket, expected to land on the “dark side of the moon” next week, is a military project….. code named “MoonRaker”. Look it up…. Wag the dog……wag the dog.

😉. 🤠
WoW. Keep us posted there code name “WTD” on your next Q notification from John Kennedy. Never thought it through that far down the rabbit hole. Good on you 🤣.

If you do get a minute, look up the definition of Business Continuity Planning (BCP). I may know a little bit about this process should there by cyber attack on FINTECH apps from aliens or lizard people.

If and when war breaks in the Ukraine. Riddle me this, is it below this administration to attack from within to obtain support from the American people like 9/11? We are all about to find out as the big war machine is back in motion.

I would not rule it out

Ukraine can meet the food needs of 600 million people.
Ukraine is an important industrialised country:

I posted a thread in the P&G section after President Biden took office, inviting others to look back at history and consider a couple of "What if" scenarios. This is added here respectfully, just for people to think a bit.

-What if President Biden and VP Harris had been in office in December of 1941.
Imagine the call from the Pentagon to the White House to alert them about the message...
"Air Raid Pearl Harbor, this is no Drill"
Imagine President Biden giving the Speech to the Joint Session of Congress the following day.
Then, imagine him conferring with his advisors, meaning those now in position as VP, Sec Def, Sec State, the Joint Chiefs, etc, on how to proceed.
Imagine him passing when FDR did, and VP Harris making the decision to drop the bomb that Harry Truman made.

Or, plug those same folks into the same positions on 9-11-2001.
Frankly, it scares the hell out of me to think about the possibilities.
The chain of events unfolding in Europe isn't at those levels. Yet. I think our adversaries are very adept at measuring the strength of leadership in this country, and this is why we are faced with this situation now. I am convinced that there will be further steps, and also convinced Russia and China are working together. I will be surprised if China does not follow suit against Taiwan.

If that balloon goes up we are in serious trouble, to put it mildly.

This is all MUCH more important to the Europeans (and Russians) than it is to the states.

If Ukraine is so important then why weren't they invited to join the EU?

Why isn't Europe doing more to help them?

If the Europeans aren't going to stand up for it why should we?

We need to stay the F out of this one.

I totally agree. I'm just stating why it's important to Russia!

The only difference between now and 1939 is now, this country is full of liberal, woke, pussy ass liberals. There is no love of country and we have become spoiled, little bitches whining about everything and entitlement. Unlike in 1939, when the whole country had a reason and will to fight! If things greatly escalate with this situation the United States as we have known it since WW2 will be vastly different.
When a country is divided it is weak!

Think about this..... the last nation-engulfing war was WWII really, also I believe it was the last true War as Congress must declare it, not the president. And there not long before that there was WWI. And only about 50 years before that was the Civil war and before that all the smaller wars and battles that kept this nation so busy after the Revolutionary War. Until now....

This is the first time in American History where that hasn't been an actual war for over 50 years. There are not enough people left to teach the younger generations and pass down the national pride and what other countries are capable of doing to us and our neighbors.

Obviously there are many that understand, or have seen battle, or have that national pride, but the percentage is soon much lower than it has EVER been in our nation's past. And you know other country leaders see that now too.

Lets not forget our own history.

Romney VS Obama in 2012 - the dems laughed at Romney depicting him as out of touch with the cold war over.

Romney absolutely called this one right - twice, once in 2014 and now.

Well, since countries seem to be up for grabs, I'd like to see the US take the whole Baja Peninsula.
Buld a couple dozen de-salinization plants along the pacific and Sea of Cortez coasts, and 'voila' let the developers get their rocks off on all that pristine water front land !
Then little by little march our way down through the states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, and Durango . . . then draw a straight line from Cabo to the southern tip of Texas, build a wall and say, 'There you go fuckers, you can HAVE the rest, . . . until next time" ! 😆🖕

You dont need "surf spots and offroading" to sign up for welfare. Actually I think intercitys would beat out any beach town for people on welfare, hands down!!

At the end of the day, you can make your assumptions as to who will make what move next or how it will all play out. Either way, it’s not good. We have numerous assets in the region as a deterrence should this get even more out of hand. That’s all that I’ll say about that. Standby to standby.

Out of all the problems I see with this. This would be the only benefit to it.. If we goto legit war, America’s tolerance for the woke left is going to get pretty small pretty quick.

The lefts plan to distract all Americans from Biden’s failed policies here at home and instead have us hate on Russia seems to be working. Haven’t heard a peep even from Conservative Media in the last few days in regards to the Southern Border Crisis, Out of Control Inflation, 50% raise in Crime, Vaccine Mandates for a vaccine that doesn’t stop Covid Transmission, etc…. But go ahead and keep your eyes on Russia, lol 👀

We have sent 11,000. Hill AFB was sending F-35's all through the night next last week. Driving into Vegas last Thursday the sky looked like a hornets nest from Nellis.

I heard the same thing from a friend in Vegas, also heard F16's out of Kirkland too. If we have US jets actually hitting Russian tanks, shit will get out of hand and the Nukes will come out. We may really find out if those Russian hypersonic missiles are unstoppable or not.....
