Purchased this from a member. Best investment made.

What brand of trailer is that if it will fit a Jeep you think it will fit a long travel 4 seater f150 truck...

I like it but not sure my chick will go for something like that she wants more comfort feeling not man cave if I was my way I would just use a flat bed

Probably easier to drive two vehicles. Have her tow the prerunner out.

I think some of the newer genesis non-garage models have 20+ feet to the first cabinet, your going to have more trouble finding one that will fit it width wise. I can fit my long travel ranger in my weekend warrior but it rubs the wheel wells. I'm not sure if the newer toy haulers have drive over wheel wells but your talking a lot of weight with an f-150. Mine is an LE3505, 18 ft to the first cabinet

That’s what we are leaning towards but we only have one truck for the toy hauler but a used truck and car hauler for the truck still might be cheaper then getting something new to fit the truck

Do you have to put smaller tires on your ranger

X10 on build custom Hauler or stick with a flatbed or Car hauler style enclosed!!

Any of the production toy haulers wont hold up to your expectations. I went Motorhome / enclosed from 5th wheel and truck...

Both have pro's and cons...

I will tell you that her pulling out a trailer gets old pretty quick... (tried that too)

The next challenge you will find , is getting out of the truck or anything with doors when inside of the trailer.. you either winch them in and out or you need the trailer to have a door on the driver side so you can open the truck door in the trailer. ( this is often overlooked.) Spread and dropped axle trailers are great for going down the road but absolutely SUCK getting to your camping spot in the desert... Make sure what ever you have is higher than the one I got... that is the biggest regret so far.

My buddy is getting ready to sell his and I believe it has 25’ if garage space.

He can put two sxs’s inline in it with no problems. Inside is spotless, outside is pretty nice as well.

13k I think is what he said?

If you are interested I can get all the pics and put you two together.

The problem with most toy haulers you will have is axle capacity and the construction of the hauler itself. You can find plenty that will fit it, but if it weighs 4500 lbs its gonna crush the floor, break the ramp, pull out the tie-downs and overload the axles.

Don't really do it anymore... after it self clearanced the step from the door. That pretty much limited the places we go ... The moho is low as well so the whole damn thing is really not condusive to remote desert camping like a truck and trailer... I pretty much either pavement Camp(Gecko rd) or a nice fire road /pole line road... after that , I don't go. I don't want the tow bill to drag all this shit out of the desert. and the body shops would have a field day with Rv parts and paint repairs..

My 1992 f150 pre runner is not very wide.. only 4 inches over per side... With 4.5 wheel offset running a 35/12.5 it measures almost 98 inches wide. Full long travel f150 at 6+ per side are going to be close to 100. It hangs off the sides of a normal flat bed and you have to drive over the fenders. I would be suprised if you could fit a long travel f150 into any type of enclosed trailer.

When I was looking, most of the manufacturers listed a great weight rating, and had plenty of clearance. The weak point was the rear door. I know a guy out here that took a Holiday Rambler, big F'er, and switched the back gate to a barn door setup with steel ramps. It also allowed him to run longer ramps on a raised trailer, and make loading his crawler easier.

We got to California City for Thanksgiving and New Years and I worry about ripping the step off every time we turn from the 395 onto 20 Mule Team Road

Oh it's a Ranger. Nevermind. Just put it on a Carson flatbed and be done with it. :D

I'm just giving you a hard time! ;)

Like was mentioned, I think a motorhome and a flatbed will be more practical. Probably less money too. Those baller trailers posted above aren't cheap!!

I would like to switch to a motorhome/enclosed combo but it would cost me a ton, could maybe get 22k for my truck and trailer, but a decent motorhome/trailer would be 50+
it's a tight squeeze on the flatbed. lol

Oh that isnt mine Brother! I can't afford the spare tire on that bitch! :D

92" I think.

92 sounds like WMS to WMS... add ~9 more for outside tire to tire and you are at 101... which sounds about right!

Exactly... wide a fock .. and it aint going to fit inside anything. And even a mild built full size is going to need a flat bed... legal is 102 inches without a permit. I wouldn't be suprised if that trailer is technically over.

That F150 weighs way to much to put on these new Toyhauler floors and the doors, its probably to wide, I have the biggest towhauler out there and theres no way that will fit width wise, my sand car i have to remove a tire

The prerunner trackwidth is 93.5" and the trailer is legal. Barely. :D

Precisely what I was thinking. A fully built long travel F-150 is likely pushing the scale up near 5500 lbs, depending on the extent of it's build. What the load rating on most of the new toy haulers? Gonna have to be near 8k to hold all the normal camping stuff plus the pre-runner which would likely put the trailer gvwr near 20k. So IF one could be found to fit, those are some big weight ratings that you will likely only find on a fairly new 5th wheel toy hauler.

94 track width means it’s perfect with 0 offset wheels for perfect bearing alignment... all my ghetto fab junk runs whatever offset aftermarket wheels I can score for cheap. That just makes it worthless wide. But it gets the job done!

Even the big 5th wheel haulers have less than 6500lb cargo capacity, And you have to subtract water and camping gear from that, what's left is cargo

This is the exact issue I face. There is no good option for a truck that big. Best I’ve found is a motorhome.

I bought a short 33ft diesel so I can tow my prerunner and rzr out without leaving one behind.

Im the same way. Though not as low, Im not sure why my buddies feel like driving two hours into the desert to find the "Perfect spot" Fuck all that. I have a 2018 Class C, and I am sure not wrecking it!

Out of my groups. I know of 3 tow bills already.

I stick to powerline roads also. I prefer to drive my offroad car "offroad", and keep my pavement shit on dirt roads that as passable. LOL. If they get to far in, I just pull over and setup camp. Sure enough, an hour or so later, here they come back, usually with wrecked trailer jacks or tweaked bumpers!!

Weekend warrior 50’ triple will

We have put a 5300 lb Hmmwv wagon top in it before. Broke a leaf spring. It also fits the Tatum pre runner as well.

Good luck finding own. They only made 2 and my sister has one.

After camping at Naci twice this summer. I want to build a camping trailer that you could fit a 21 outboard into.

I've seen a couple drag boat guys fit a 19 Daytona jet in a tag weekend warrior. Not sure how much, if any, extra room was in there that a 21 would fit backed in.

I don't see how a F-150 prerunner could fit in a toy hauler, and if it did, the floor loading would exceed the maximum capacity. The biggest number I've seen is 3,000 lbs.

The stock width of a 2019 F-150 Raptor is 96.8", and it's 18'4" long. A prerunner setup is probably close to that. The maximum external width of a toy hauler is 102". The wall width is probably 3", so that leaves 96" width clear inside, ignoring the wheel wells.

I don’t believe any exist. I looked for a while for mine (Explorer). Even if I could shoe horn it in a trailer I wouldn’t be able to get out of the truck once in. If you happen to find something I’m all ears as I’m not as wide as a full size truck.

I'm looking at upgrading my toy hauler, and came across this in my search. Sun Downer Trailers. Pretty badass. ***Not my set up. Saw this picture on the website.

Looked at those or something very similar at the Havasu Boat show. Pretty cool setup but they are pricey

We have a Forest River Sand Piper T34'
FB. Same as the Seirra line.
Bumper pull. 17'6" to the 1st cabinet. These trailers have know wheelwells in them. Not positive on the max weight allowed but i do know it is considerably more than a WW 34fb
Used to haul our 4000lb+ Jeepster Commando on 33" tires and Dana 40 axles no problem. With room for 2 kids quads behind it.

Cheers...weve been there!!
