What brand of trailer is that if it will fit a Jeep you think it will fit a long travel 4 seater f150 truck...
I think some of the newer genesis non-garage models have 20+ feet to the first cabinet, your going to have more trouble finding one that will fit it width wise. I can fit my long travel ranger in my weekend warrior but it rubs the wheel wells. I'm not sure if the newer toy haulers have drive over wheel wells but your talking a lot of weight with an f-150. Mine is an LE3505, 18 ft to the first cabinetI like it but not sure my chick will go for something like that she wants more comfort feeling not man cave if I was my way I would just use a flat bed
Do you have to put smaller tires on your rangerI think some of the newer genesis non-garage models have 20+ feet to the first cabinet, your going to have more trouble finding one that will fit it width wise. That is the ultimate trailer!!Ultra SanTek out of Perris Ca.
16.6’ from door to first cabinet. 20k capacity, sleeps 7, full bath.
@Deckin Around was the originally owner. He built it right the first time!
anyone know a toy hauler that will fit a full size prerunner I am thinking maybe an older weekend warrior might do it what do you guys think
The problem with most toy haulers you will have is axle capacity and the construction of the hauler itself. You can find plenty that will fit it, but if it weighs 4500 lbs its gonna crush the floor, break the ramp, pull out the tie-downs and overload the axles.
X10 on build custom Hauler or stick with a flatbed or Car hauler style enclosed!!
Any of the production toy haulers wont hold up to your expectations. I went Motorhome / enclosed from 5th wheel and truck...
Both have pro's and cons...
I will tell you that her pulling out a trailer gets old pretty quick... (tried that too)
The next challenge you will find , is getting out of the truck or anything with doors when inside of the trailer.. you either winch them in and out or you need the trailer to have a door on the driver side so you can open the truck door in the trailer. ( this is often overlooked.) Spread and dropped axle trailers are great for going down the road but absolutely SUCK getting to your camping spot in the desert... Make sure what ever you have is higher than the one I got... that is the biggest regret so far.

no, it's only on 33's thoDo you have to put smaller tires on your ranger
Don't really do it anymore... after it self clearanced the step from the door. That pretty much limited the places we go ... The moho is low as well so the whole damn thing is really not condusive to remote desert camping like a truck and trailer... I pretty much either pavement Camp(Gecko rd) or a nice fire road /pole line road... after that , I don't go. I don't want the tow bill to drag all this shit out of the desert. and the body shops would have a field day with Rv parts and paint repairs..I have the same brand trailer without the spread axle and you are right it is too damn low..I don't know how you take yours offroad

I would like to switch to a motorhome/enclosed combo but it would cost me a ton, could maybe get 22k for my truck and trailer, but a decent motorhome/trailer would be 50+Oh it's a Ranger. Nevermind. Just put it on a Carson flatbed and be done with it.
I'm just giving you a hard time!
Like was mentioned, I think a motorhome and a flatbed will be more practical. Probably less money too. Those baller trailers posted above aren't cheap!!
Whats the track width on the Backlash f150?
Oh that isnt mine Brother! I can't afford the spare tire on that bitch!
92" I think.
Wheelbase, WMS, track width, yada yada yada.
That truck is wide as fock but works SOOOOO well!
Exactly... wide a fock .. and it aint going to fit inside anything. And even a mild built full size is going to need a flat bed... legal is 102 inches without a permit. I wouldn't be suprised if that trailer is technically over.
Precisely what I was thinking. A fully built long travel F-150 is likely pushing the scale up near 5500 lbs, depending on the extent of it's build. What the load rating on most of the new toy haulers? Gonna have to be near 8k to hold all the normal camping stuff plus the pre-runner which would likely put the trailer gvwr near 20k. So IF one could be found to fit, those are some big weight ratings that you will likely only find on a fairly new 5th wheel toy hauler. The problem with most toy haulers you will have is axle capacity and the construction of the hauler itself. The prerunner trackwidth is 93.5" and the trailer is legal. Barely.
Even the big 5th wheel haulers have less than 6500lb cargo capacity, And you have to subtract water and camping gear from that, what's left is cargoPrecisely what I was thinking. I've seen a couple drag boat guys fit a 19 Daytona jet in a tag weekend warrior. Not sure how much, if any, extra room was in there that a 21 would fit backed in.After camping at Naci twice this summer. I want to build a camping trailer that you could fit a 21 outboard into.

I'm looking at upgrading my toy hauler, and came across this in my search. Sun Downer Trailers. Pretty badass. ***Not my set up. Saw this picture on the website.

Im the same way. Though not as low, Im not sure why my buddies feel like driving two hours into the desert to find the "Perfect spot" Fuck all that. I have a 2018 Class C, and I am sure not wrecking it!
Out of my groups. I know of 3 tow bills already.
I stick to powerline roads also. I prefer to drive my offroad car "offroad", and keep my pavement shit on dirt roads that as passable. LOL. If they get to far in, I just pull over and setup camp. Sure enough, an hour or so later, here they come back, usually with wrecked trailer jacks or tweaked bumpers!!
