We have a fully loaded 2021 3717 Vortex that will be listing... Not sure if it fits your needs as it has a slide and residential fridge.

Thank you for the offer, yet I will pass. I recently sold my Genesis CR40 to free up money and get a older stuff to be paid in cash.

I saw an 80's square body K5 Blazer a few days ago. White with black top, so nothing special on the paint. No trim. It had "$50,000 in upgrades just done!" I said well he's not going to get that out of it and the guy responds that owner wants more than that, so I laughed. Owner walks out and his employee says hey where are you at on the Blazer? He says, I'm at $85k right now. I laugh and snicker. Bewildered he says, I've got one offer already at $80k! I said, well you should take it AS FAST AS YOU CAN! The truck is still sitting there for a reason, you have no offer for $80k, can't BS a BS'er.
They list off all the "upgrades", Dakota Digital Dash, Wheels and tires, new shocks, new interior, LS motor, blah, blah, blah! In my head I'm like, you just listed off $15k of bolt on upgrades that are the EASIEST to get and put in. No suspension work, no original trim or paint, no original trim or interior, motor could have been from a junkyard but because they can call it an LS they think it's SO bitchin'!

I didn't want to insult more than I may already have so I didn't tell them I'd pay $15-20k for it when they get desperate.

What's it going to take to get these prices back to something in the realm of the real world? Is a full blown recession what is needed?

I am still seeing clapped out Jet Boats asking for 12k, needs interior.

Fox Body mustangs, 15k, 300k miles. "I know what I got"

Everything I see i still higher than giraffe pussy.

Is this just the new world we live in?

I know people are going to say, "Stuff aint selling". But I never see the prices drop.

What Say Ye?

“Giraffe pussy”…..LOL.

These people kill me, they act like they are the only ones to figure things out and a gods gift to earth. Sometimes I call them out on there bs and will start bringing up pricing via google if they are douches. A little research and knowledge goes a long way. We live in a great time with many resources at our finger tip, half a brain and some keywords bring up a lot of crap 🤣

Gotcha... I'm wanting to get into a motorhome.... lol

Happy hunting...

Thank you! Two weeks ago I went to an auction where they had a 2002 or 2003 Monaco fully loaded, tag axles, top of the line with 25k miles on it, the bid was hoovering around 20k until the day of the auction where it sold for $110k, I bowed out at 80 as have to factor in 30-35% of fees on top of that. The book value on it was around $90k. The locals told me the guy bdiding was a well known contractor that had more money than brains

But when are the holdouts going to finally let their shit get to reality? Are people high still from Covid Gold?

I feel like people uneducated were paying ANYTHING for toys during lockdown and owners still think those idiots exist.

Just came across this prime example. Yes, it’s probably the most desirable hallett/power package in existence. But 75k?? Holy shit. Guess you can ask what you want if you don’t want to sell it.

was the seller of this 240 Jim Haering? looks like the same boat. if yes, he and I spoke several times a few years ago about me buying his 240. we even agreed on a price. he just wanted to finish the season. I said fine. after the season he sends me a message and wants $10,000 than we already agreed. I passed.

They can’t because they are upside down.

That’s why RDP classifieds has the best prices, no one here has loans.😁

I just type in RV for bid and go through the different sites. I try to find one on the west coast so I can fly there and if it does not work out I am only out a few hundred bucks versus stuck with a hunk of junk. Most dealers/auctions places I call I ask them the general questions/history/ more pictures and explain I am out of state and potential looking. So far all of them have been great to interact with and deal with. I ask them about the purchasing process too, they explain it in good detail. Deals can be had, just how far are you willing to travel and how much work are you wanting to put into? For an RV I am game to fly as I can either drive the big bastard back or fly back. For a trailer I try and limit it to 500 miles from where I live as that is a day shot of driving if the trailer is a dud. Just have to be selective in your wants/needs and be realistic going into the auction you may need to dump another $X money into it. As long as I am able to buy whatever it is slightly under market value and meets my needs/wants I take the risk.

Dirt bikes are way down same with enclosed trailers.

Been shopping both for a while. Just trying to meet up with sellers is the hard part. Crf110 I want he listed at 5k down to 3k but he is a flake now. Quite a few asking 3k or less. Some have been reduced numerous times and listed for months.

Seadoos and waverunners waydown.

Work trucks way down.

CRF110 for 5k? God I hope it is built.

I bought a new 24 in 23 for $3106 OTD

Yup, same guy. Funny that he’s selling to upgrade to a 270, yet he’s asking 10k more than any 270 within 250 miles of Vegas.

Cash is king, especially right now.

Bought a 953C Cat Track loader. Started at $62,000 the. Was 57, then 55, 50, 45 ……
I bought it with $35k cash. Guy was tired of people asking him to finance it for them.

Stock. Prices were crazy on them. I bought 1 last year 2018 for $1500 and was offered it at that price. I would buy a new 1 tomorrow for $3100. Was hoping to spend $2500 for a great condition 21-24. Just working late everyday and none are close by. Was hoping to get 1 before last weekend it was my Nieces birthday. But it's for them to share. They are moving up from the 50s and 70s and the younger ones taking over the 50s and 70s. Got 9 Nieces and Nephews getting into riding. And only 5 bikes.

I bought mine for a little over a 100. When Covid was going on I had guys offering me 160-170..

Looking around if I got 85-90 think that would be all the money with 58-60 being the fire sale.. wholesale sell it today price.
You got out of the toon while the market was hot. Something to be grateful for.

Those things just sit now. Several similar boats asking 210+ been sitting for almost 6 months.

Even some in the high 100s sitting still.

I’m interested in them but not over 150k and even that still is a head scratcher for me looking at a toon.

everyone else staring to see the price drops on used side x sides? I look at the toy market all the time, and really noticing prices coming down on these. Also seeing a lot of the same boats and sandcars just sitting on the market and being re-advertised. There were 2 can ams that I spoke with the sellers about and both reached back out after weeks letting me know they've reduced their prices. I don't think the "bottom has fallen out" yet... but it is getting close. I have not been eye balling the RV market at all, but I would assume it is worse?

I had the intention of selling my sandcar to upgrade before this season, but I have decided to just keep it for now and enjoy it this season and maybe several more. I always like upgrading or switching it up every 4-5 years, but probably smarter to just enjoy what I have at this point.

I am not a doom and gloom person. But I honestly don’t think we’ve seen anything yet compared to what’s coming. Like you stated everything is sitting. All industries I talk to are either slow or slowing down. Election is around the corner. With that said. Things are still moving that are priced right. I think by summer or next year we may see fire sale pricing if things don’t pick up in the economy.

Yup I think right now is just a weird time before the election.

Barrett Jackson was jampacked this weekend though so who knows! People are still asking stupid money, I haven't seen anything pre covid on my end yet.

Things will tank after I buy a motorhome, so just hold out till I do....lol
haha this is how I've always felt when buying stuff. Honestly this should work in your favor. I'd say it's a buyers market right now for toys and RV's.... so you should be able to negotiate some decent deals. Just can't be too emotional about the buying process.

We paid $27.500 OTD for our 2020 X3 Max RR RS in 2020.
Saw the prices then rise near $40K for the next 3 years, and they were getting it.

Then easing, seen it around low $30's, Mid $30's at Berts of course. One place in AZ even had a couple at $27.500 in their ads.

That was all at the end of last season so no telling where they are now, but they have gone back up somewhat with the approaching season..

I paid $30 and change in 2018 w/ 5 year warranty for my can am x3 rs smart loc ( red & black car )

Not trying to be a dick but you’ll prob have to drop it another 10-15 to get a real buyer. My buddy just bought same trailer just the green and gray version 35k about a month ago. I hope you get more for yours but it’s a tough crowd with the rv/trailer market right now. Weird times. I’m glad I’m not trying to sell or upgrade my rv because I’d prob be sick at what I’d have to let it go for to get rid of it

100%

Should have read your response before I posted....

I have a 10k deposit on my '21 Vortex 3817V fully loaded, residential package, 3 ac's, auto level, 7k genny, etc.... sold it for $60k. Granted it's selling to family , just didn't have to deal with the BS selling to the public for what, another 5k?

Prices for trucks is coming down. Might have to swoop one up.
Dutton had a few Denali 3500s listed for a fair price. Have 2 friends that paid about 20k more few months ago.

With the devaluation of the dollar with congressional acts like the "Inflation Reduction Act" (I know oxymoron, lol) since the Biden Crime Family took over the Federal Reserve cash just doesn't go as far as it did Pre-Covid. Unless we go into another Great Depression and go back onto the Gold Standard I'm afraid prices today will be as low as you see. Chances are Washington DC will continue to borrow and even further deflate the dollar in the coming future!
