Well I was hesitant as Top Gun was one of the first movies I seen in a theater, I was 7. It has been one of my favorite movies to this day(not to mention "Top Gun" on the Nintendo) . but they always seem to screw shit up when they remake a movie! We havent been to a movie theater in probably 10+yrs.

All I can say is WOW, FUKN RAD!!

Best movie I have seen in a long time!

Cool you enjoyed the movie. I'm always afraid after reading stuff and things get pumped up the expectations don't meet the delivery but I think this movie stands that test.

Made it to the theater with my wife and the boys today. As Cruise had said, it was meant to be seen and heard there. I haven't been in a theater for 3-4 years. It was a little cheesy at times, but it was "Hollywood" at it's best. Larger than life.

Yes, no helmets in Cali bugged me a little. The "brass" in control of the op...

But they brought a Tomcat into the flick, and a Mustang...so that made it all good!

Great Movie and Amazing Filming. I’m an aviation buff and this may go down as the best Non CGI (for the most part) aircraft movie of all time.

Great clean movie. Probably will be the last movie I will go to in the theatres. This was filmed in the 2018/2019 time period before Hollywood went Woke. I doubt you’ll ever see another American Classic come out of that Cesspool again!!

It’s out on Amazon (or Netflix…dunno, wife found it). I didn’t see it when it came out. I was impressed. Every bit as good as the original, maybe better.

I saw it in Imax. Great movie for the most part. Glad I saw it in Imax format. Wouldn't be as good on the home theater system.

Enjoyed the movie. Ended up seeing it a second time while waiting for cars service at dealership. My son said the plot was similar to Star Wars when Luke had to blow up the Death Star…lol!

Top Gun is my favorite movie of all time (full homo). My mom took me to see it in The theater when I was 5 and I’ve probably watched at a million times since then. Know it line for line.

Maverick has got to be the best aviation filming of all time. If you watch some of these YouTube reviews with former and current TopGun instructors and pilots they all say the same thing; it’s a movie, not a documentary….but they all love it and say it’ll make millions of kids want to be fighter pilots.

My oldest (16) is obsessed with it and wants to be a fighter jock now (shame he’s color blind). The dog even watches it with us:

Just watched it again on Blu-ray, this movie is fun!! The extras are great as well, talks in depth the training the actors went through to prepare for what their bodies were going to go through and how they worked with Skunk_Works to develop the Darkstar for the film, Skunk_Works went all out on it

H_ngman says in the extras "How did I let Tom convince me to do this?" For the record you wouldn't have to convince me to climb into an F-18

I actually liked it better than the first one. The flight scenes in Maverick were amazing!
