Today the world lost a good man

After being on the boards for all these years you see these threads and you feel bad for whoever it is that week and you move on with your life. It never occurs to you that just being in someone's thoughts really helps. I really appreciate all the responses and I really appreciate my online extended family. Reading this thread has added some comfort to a very trying time.

The fact that he was your hero, says it all.....So So sorry for your loss.............

Very well said I was just thinking the same thing....he taught me everything that I know that's good in life. In the 32 years I've been alive I've never seen him tell a lie and I've never met such a man with such integrity. I know that I am who I am today because of him.

Aw Dave, I am sorry, man. It sucks, and it will keep sucking for many years. My dad was one of my favorite people and I miss him. I still get sad when I see his photos. Its gonna hurt, and it won't go away for a while. After a while you think about it less, but when you remember, you will still be sad.

I know you were proud of him and loved him a lot. Be glad you had as much time with him as you got.

My father passed away this morning. He had a heart attack while walking his dogs. A friend visiting some neighbors did CPR for awhile before the ambulance showed up. I arrived on the scene to see the paramedics working on him, right up till the point where they handed me the corvette hat we bought him for christmas, cell phone and sunglasses.

A few of you had met him, and one or two knew him..

Today the world lost a good man. The greatest man I've ever known.

I am so sorry man! I can only imagine what your going threw along with the rest of your family !!!!!! You and i are almost the same age and my father's health is on my mind alot.... I am at a loss for words and although i have never personaly met you . I know you are a Man of Men !
