I have had it too. It sucked. The nerve pain wasn't fun at all.

My father had this bullshit and he really suffered. All around his torso, up his back and stomach was just super red and inflamed. He couldn't sit, stand, or lay down for better than a month.

So both my wife and I did the shots. I had some pretty bad chicken pox as a kid and they say almost a guarantee shingles later in life.

My wife is fighting with a severe case of Shingles now 😱 Started back in December goes from the middle of her chest all the way around to the middle of her back she’s on pain meds along with medicated cream for the nerve pain which she describes as a electrical shock from front to rear........ This has been going on for 3 months now as far as the pain ....... the shingles are starting to fade away just wish the pain would for her. After seeing her going though this trust me I went and had my 1st of 2 Shingle shots.

nerve blockers are being called in the drug store now. From what doc says the 'spread should be done'. Basically it went to every branch on the damn nerve tree from my spine.
So you have the skin hurting due to the rash and blisters. that's constant. BUT the surprise electrical zap at unknown spots is brutal! Im 52, really never thought about shingles in my life. Its hurts, I have a high pain threshold and this stuff is super natural.

Next phase. Im about day 20. The rash area has started to fade. The blisters are gone.
Whats left is raw skin.
The nerve pain is tough to explain. The pain moves. Like a spined bug under the skin. It calms down then bam, 15 minutes of agony.
It hurts, itches, aches, burns.
Im on nerve blockers now, im sure they are helping but its tough.
Each week is unique, from what ive read its damaged nerve ends trying to heal.
Get the F'n shot!

Like I have said ,
I had this .
No I didn’t get the shot.
But did this happen because of the chicken pox vaccine we all got as kids ??
Nobody will know .

Actually it's caused by Actually having chicken pox (Thanks mom for the chicken pox parties) but we still have another 10-15 years before the first generation that got the vaccine is in the age range to start worrying about shingles, time will tell.

I had shingles when I was young. Then my parents sold that house and moved to a house with tile roof. I really liked the shingles. I hope that you find a suitable house with a good roof. :looking:

You’ll probably have to find the right strain of marijuana to rub on it.

If you scratch it, be sure to wash your hands 30 seconds, before peeing. 😜

I hear the Covid vaccine is a side effect to the shingles vaccination. 😛
