Who's got it?

Our little boat tops out at about all of 55mph for right now.

79 Spectra 20 = 55 mph.

Where do you fall?

Winner of the fastest boat gets T-Shirts from me when they are done.

definitely not going to be the overall fastest, but I've done 112mph in the West Coast Focker. will go faster with a labbed prop, but I have not gotten around to getting one. Pretty good for a single engine Ultra cat. its a heavy pig and move pretty fast.

probably a good idea to provide a little proof...

Normally, low 6o's, but if I light up the the blower, forget to put down the bimini top, and list it on ebay, it's damn near un-beatable:D

Gotta own it, and post here...

but go ahead Brian, throw the #.. I'm sure it's gonna be pretty impressive. :D

After the one comment years back "We regularly go over 150 mph and life jackets are never worn.. The general consensus is it won't help much"

I can only imagine. :D

Ever heard of a "tell tale" speedo?

I get about 85mph. Definitely not the fastest but respectable I think for such a big boat.

How 'bout a shirt fer the slowest?:D

The SkiSanger tops out at about 48, slashing away at the water with the 4-blade Nibral prop turinin' about 5k on the tach.
But hey, it'll pop multiple skiers out of the water no problemo...

No way I could win it. But I would buy a shirt if it helped fund the admin costs. :D

My slug takes 650 HP to run 75 with a well tuned pump. But it will do it all day long or until the temp gauge pegs. Just fast enough to suck the beer from a can. ;)

I bought my 21 just before he had the 24 plug done. It has a 540 Merlin with crower internals from top to bottom. Solid Lifter cam and MPD pump. The wife wanted nothing thru the hatch so no blower. Life is full of compromises. :D

I think that lad from Michigan that checked in a short spell ago might get the nod.

Mine will eventually do 48 with the Bimini top down,, so count me out.
Does a pretty good 0 to 23 though.

Figured we'd start with Top.. ;)

Different classes (outboard, i/O, V-Drive, deck boat, cat,) etc.. will be down the road..

As soon as some stuff happens I figured I'd give the top guys a little something for the effort.

Hey Dave at what point does this contest end?

I figured I'd give it a a couple of weeks.. No worries I'm sure everybody will have a chance to put their # in.

I will ask though, that they own the boat and post here. That's my only 2 stipulations.

When I had the blower motor in the cat, it did 118mph on GPS. :)

Now my "fast" boat runs mid-high 80's. :)

What association allowed you go 7.20's in an open boat?

We'll certainly not the SLDBA, ran that time once during grudge matches at one of their races and got a stern lecture from the officials not to do it again. :D

I know we are not the fastest at 106+ but I bet we are one of the few that do it with the least ammount of HP (300) and fuel usage!!!
