I learned a long time ago, not to try to be the fastest guy out there, there is always someone with more time and money than you. That said, build it for yourself, to make YOU happy, be that 50mph or 150 mph. OUr little boat goes above 90, I ran out of balls before I ran out of RPM's...I'd say 92-3..maybe a bit more...but it's a fun boat, we love it, and I am not interested in going faster.....it does what I want it to...besides, I got taken for a 110+ mph pass, and shit my drawers all the way down the river...never again....
