Frozen Bun Run @ Rusty Porthole was a blast yesterday
Those probably haven't moved in decades, the Delta is home to a lot of relics. Been that way since the 60's, but some of the best boating there is. Love to see the Lost Isle Club make a comeback, that place was crazy.Man, nasty ass rag flappers. Imagine what their houses look like
I have pictures of that boat in Nashville at the 450R release. I also remember it sold there for good money.Guy with 430 Formula (4) 450s says it runs mid 70s mph & uses 200 gallons per hour @ WOT
Said he averages 200 ish hours a yearI have pictures of that boat in Nashville at the 450R release. I also remember it sold there for good money.
I wonder how many hours are on it now?

I’d say more than reasonable.
How does that 255 with twin 300s perform? I think that is my next boat.

I took a few beers with me, wife drove home. I was told u wiped out the TitosDid he have any Tito’s to share? Last I was on board the supply was looking pretty depleted!
Or…… maybe I depleted the supply
WC, just to share my experience with that same fuel selector valve; that thing was a world of headaches after installing one on my son's boat with a EFI 225 ProMax. It is just not designed for fuel systems. The single thin Oring will allow air to be pulled in but, not leak fuel. That thing kicked my ass trying to figure out what was going on after experiencing fuel issues. The empty tank could not effectively be isolated, and it would pull air into the system from the empty tank. If all tanks had fuel, it was not a problem...
I replaced with it a better design. IMO, its only suited for water plumbing.

Thank you. Yes, the top center is direct feed out. That is brilliant! The ports on my filter head were already 3/8", and I run 1/2" hoses to everything all the way to the Dominator carb inlet. So the center tap is what feeds the engine?
I was thinking of doing that to provide a return point from my fuel regulator to see if that would keep the tanks even since they are not interconnected.
Either way, love that solution for like you said, "simplicity".
Nice work!

I’ve got quite a bit of experience with return systems, and if you’re returning from a 2-5 PSI system, I’d use the “inlet” ports to the filter.
If it’s much more than 10 PSI, it gets troublesome because the bubbles don’t have anywhere to dissipate, AND you’re returning heat to the suction side, so if you’re pulling fuel to the engine your risk of vapor lock goes up.
I keep an extra jug under your bunk...Did he have any Tito’s to share? Last I was on board the supply was looking pretty depleted!

I have 2 ionic red cranking batteries. For sale $ 240 each free shipping. 1400 ccThe Blue Canoe went on a diet….
Removed the tanks, hoses, pump, stereo, speakers ….
I feel better already!
Looking into a different battery system. Maybe something lighter. Experimenting with rear view camera set ups. Neat options to see better. Camera forward, camera backward. We’ll see how this might be possibly integrated into both boats.
