You never know what I’ll buy next...!!
That damn Argo is tempting.
STV’s and Jaguar Mirages have always interested me.
If I see the right deal, I’ll buy damn near anything!
Here’s my old 19’ DCB...
Dave’s first DCB.Tony Chiramonte at DCB now owns it. Super light weight

Truth be told, Wild Bill said if we won the Parker Enduro, he would give my brother and I the boat....We won, Wild Bill gave us the boat. Best prize ever!

Don't know if you are familiar with these hulls View attachment 802912 , but this Silverwing for sale is tempting.

Jim Wilkes is a good friend ...
And yes, that is another boat I’d love to own!!
I always pictured my Silverwing with the V8 and the outdrive....
It would be interesting to test the Outboard version!
I always wanted a cobra, too!

Thanks, Alex for the ride today!
You drive your 21’ like you stole it.
Blasting up Fisherman’s cut flat out was one of my favorite moments today.
Passing Bob Teague in his Schiada V-Drive was another highlight.
Also, you never stuffed the nose , despite some very large yachts and their wicked 4’ wakes...
Great to see everyone...what an incredible turnout for a week day!!
And that’s why they call it “Hooky Day”
Here’s a shot of a Delta legend..Steve Sherman. He’s been there and done that. Incredible hair for a man of his age. (Steve started this whole get together.)

Thats lennys boat. She does pretty respectable with just the single 250. Would love to see one with a single 400 or 450 even. These things accelerate and turn like nothing else. Im seriously considering having mirage build me one.

How much is Lenny asking for the Silverwing?
Your opinion of Outboard vs inboard on this hull?

I can't find the ad but I thought I saw it on Craigslist. Twin 280s or.similar. a single 400 would probably fly pretty good. Spin em out with twins.

There it is. Know I saw it somewhere. This one has a rebuilt deck and is actually in pretty good shape. Might need to reinforce the transom for twins. Maybe not I havnt seen under the floor. Just the jello shots lol. She needs more than a 250 for sure though. A new 300r or twin f1s would probably be ideal. Mullins on the new builds was under 800lbs for the hull. Vacuum bagged etc... This one probably weighs 1200 if I could guess.

N2OTOOFAST4U & KingofBeers can really drive their boats. I know all the pics look dead flat but it's never dead flat in the Bay. They both did a great job until KingofBeers decided he needed cooled off...............:D:eek::rolleyes:

Lets just watch the gross miscalculation on my part. Id come from the central Delta area and was dodging a parade of huge cruisers before I even made it to the Bay. The water from The Golden Gate to the Bay Bridge was pretty damn sloppy for my little 21, but this was on the way back to Benicia and was the last big rollers I needed to avoid. For whatever reason my brain decided to stop functioning for a hot minute and I got a major washdown. Good times!

Just a total lapse of judgement. There was a ferry coming out, and that cruiser going in. When I hit the first set for some reason I thought,"oh, thats not bad at all" and got back on the throttle just as I hit the ACTUAL first set. Once that happend it was game over for me. Any sort of timing or rhythm was totally out the window and I was at the mercy of the rollers. So technically, yes I caught it at a bad angle...lol. The first clip of the stern was my demise...:D
