I am selling the hull and trailer to my good friend, thereby enlarging the Church by one more member....

I am retrieving my 21’ Cougar from Havasu, and then swapping a bunch of parts.
When I’m done, I’ll have a 15” 300xs with 40 total hours on it. I will also put the Alien cowling on the 300xs....trying to create a fast and super reliable Delta blaster. My prediction is 110 mph and super fuel mileage.
I think I’ll just keep my DBR engine for a separate project. Maybe I’ll find a cherry STV one day, bolt on the DBR and scare my 2.5 buddies with a fire breathing 3.0 liter.

Wasn't that hull damaged at one time? Stuffed?

I wasn't around back then but I'm guessing its MUCH easier to find a former Rayzor hull that hasn't been sunk...........
I truly enjoy Dale & his enthusiasm for performance boating, not bashing at all.
Very good chance my amazing wife & I are riding with him & Lisa to Swabbies for lunch this Saturday.

Tomorrow will be a blast buzzing between all the fisherman that OWN the Sac River. They will be anchored 3&4 wide in the channel & flip us off because we come too close to them, GUARANTEED!!!!!! I'm 100% for respectful boating but I have to admit sometimes it's fun to see their faces as we roll by............

Unfortunatly the salmon are at peak season in river right now,not sure I would eat them as as there flesh is decomposing as soon as they hit fresh water to spawn.what is nice is they are mostly anchored or SLOW trolling,so I can just fly by getting the one-finger-salute...LOL

Never a problem, we have the fuel tested before the race by the tech inspectors.

Nice to see changes in rules that caused grief in the past

A pump gas reading from Running Man gas Station, 1115 Mohave Rd, Parker (adjacent to the Casino) will be taken for all three levels of fuel (86/89/91). Friday, prior to inspection. This shall serve as a base line reading for fuel check. Should Running Man gas station be closed or out of fuel, Woody’s on AZ 95 will be used for baseline fuel reading. A + 5 will be allowed. Any fuel testing higher than the baseline reading + 5 will be subject to disqualification, fine or both.

We will have a tough time besting the 2 Nordic Cyclones with 1350s, our only hope is if they break something.

Assuming you're referring to the # 54? if so you should have no trouble tip toeing around him. its just when you get close enough to feel his spray, his wake gets real big, I had the best luck running right up on the transom say 100 feet back and jumping out the last second, a couple of really big rollers, but its over quickly and you go on about your day. the 192 is another story!!

Sleek # 147 weighed 1742 in the slings after the race with 11 gallons of fuel in the tank which includes the 12 lb steel plate bolted to the back side of the bow eye:D
be safe and good luck John, appreciate the discount on the parts for twin F250s on the Parker 2820. Kevin Kraft

Cougar MTR 21’ ...

We ran it hard all afternoon...awesome run! While in the middle fork, a fighter jet was flying in the canyon we were in... it about blew us out of the boat. Surreal moment....

It really is a long way back, but that is where it has to be for the right bow lift. I thought my Daytona had set back...not like this!

This was Adam McKeon's Talon. He was on here a while back, had the Argo 23 and the Twister widebody 24. He was running in the 105-107 mph area with minimal set back on his.

Blast from the past! I rigged that Talon in my garage 20 years ago for Dale. And yes it was stuffed under the Benicia bridge with most of the deck peeled off. Boat was bought and repaired by non other than Steve Sherman. If memory service me right it took him about two weeks. :D

Good times. 180ish miles there abouts. In the last pic you can see the "What are you doing????This is my river" gesture being given.

Great time hanging with the crew and blistering the Sacto River.Usually I am on my game, but come to find out she was struggleing at buck five:(I had two cylinders of the six 35% down on compression thanks to aftermarket billet cylinder heads with removable combustion chamber domes that keep cracking on me:mad:
