Sweet day at the lake....
Went to Berry Creek and it was perfect, then to the Ponderosa Dam.
Super nice...Freddy’s Cougar was on rails all day.

Shasta, sorry we missed u

We got our house boat from Silverthorn. That fire started, and they were in scramble mode!! I sat back and tried to figure out what new truck I was going to buy if mine burned down! All was well. We had a great week!

Tempting decision....
Considering putting the 300XS on my Cougar, and put the DBR on this.

Anybody want to guess the speed with 372 DBR?

My guess is 135 mph.
Argo’s run about 126 with a 300XS... View attachment 792487

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO THAT!!!!!!! Or whatever you have to do to make that Argo the baddest Delta destroyer we have EVER seen.

That Argo is put together right too...from trailer to rigging. Your DBR would be the icing on the cake. Only one west of the Mississippi I believe as well.

I think this Argo has plenty of GO with 300XS & doesn't need the DBR. Is that what u r saying Bully? Or ???
I’m just not a fan of singles to go over 120. Guy who bought my STV in Alaska sold it to another guy and give him my number. I talk to him for about a half hour yesterday. Telling him to respect the hell out of it. One little slip and you’re done.
Trying to keep people alive. These little singles are prone to go over.

My buddy in Florida almost died three years ago in his Mirage. He’s still not fully recovered.

You have a TON more seat time in fast singles than I do & I've never been in an Argo. Your reasoning is exactly why I said a stock 300 is more than enough, propped down for acceleration would be incredible thru the Delta.

RE to what Bully has said.. the 21 and sub foot tunnels do not have enough learning curve built in until your on your lid. I've lost some good friends that went chasing numbers...look to Jessi Combs.

That said I rode in Argos and Twisters across the pond some years ago before they were even cool over here. Phenomenal boats set up respectively and run as they were designed.

Well, it's all relative I guess. Running around in any open cockpit hull in triple digits is questionable. I believe that these bigger cats running these ridiculous numbers give the owners a false sense of security as well. The smaller hulls definitely need sharper attention and more skill because the line can be crossed quite quickly. That Argo will be much more user-friendly on a daily basis in varied conditions than the Cougar was. I would set it up as a well-balanced hull that could accelerate like a rocket and not worry about running the big number.

Our slow turd back up & charging hard. Had a blast with Highvoltage329 & family along with Mr & Mrs KingofBeers the last few days. HUGE thanks to Highvoltage329 & family for their incredibly generous hospitality like always.

The calm after the storm....went skiing behind the pontoon. Awesome! I haven’t skied in years. It’s like I never took a break. Felt awesome!

Then Went past the nautical and saw all the carnage from last nights storm.
