Yeah I was going to go Loto but I also know that everyone there was running modified ECUs and not running stock engines. I won’t do that. And I won’t play with those that modify and void warranty. Let’s run stock for stock and then it’s fun.Bully, you should have run that Nordic at LOTO. You would have put all of the other 400R cats on the trailer with your numbers.
I'm slowly getting there. 96 miles has been my best day so far.Yeah I was going to go Loto but I also know that everyone there was running modified ECUs and not running stock engines. 3/4 of a mile doesn’t do much for me anyway, 140 miles does.
So insanely cool!View attachment 683644 View attachment 683645 View attachment 683646 We landed safely back at Cable Airport....
What a trip.
Great weather, great friends, good times, indeed.
I think the highlight was the 138 mile rip with Bully that we completed in 1 hour and thirty minutes. Windsor to the “white pipe”
in Bullhead, then down to the springs, (70 miles south) then back to the Channel....The Nordic was literally flying. I hope someone can match this time...but I doubt it. It takes a special boat , and I can’t think of one that could duplicate the feat. Take the challenge and let us know how fast your time was.
As you know, I love fin tails!! That is gorgeous!

Whoops!
How stupid do you need to be to flip a pontoon?Whoops!
Hopefully it was weather related. We've had some unseasonable storms come through lately. HST4ME (Lynn) lives in eastern Michigan. I'm 250-300 miles straight west. How stupid do you need to be to flip a pontoon?
That’s about the only thing that makes senseHopefully it was weather related. We've had some unseasonable storms come through lately. HST4ME (Lynn) lives in eastern Michigan. I'm 250-300 miles straight west.
At least it was a Yamaha that went swimming.

You were the first guy I contacted when the deal was done! Im very interested in dragging this up to Oroville to get some input from you guys. I still dont have plates for the trailer or reg for the boat. Ive only got about 3 hrs of seat time so far. Maybe running around Delta this Sunday to burn some more gas.View attachment 685549
So cool!!!
I’ll bring my Cougar down to the Delta, and we will set the backwaters on fire.
Very interested in your build...you are sporting the new Outboard platform, that is awesome.
Pm me and let’s do this. If you want to drag it up to the Oroville afterbay, Wild Bill and I will assist in a test day ...we have lots of stainless. Wild Bill is damn good at reading a boat. One afternoon with Bill would produce bigger numbers, guaranteed. We are interested in the lower unit handling characteristics...it is larger than the old sport master. We found the 400R lower could literally lift the back of the boat ...So be cautious, that thing has big torque (V8) and a relatively small hull.
Test ...Test ...Test! Lots of seat time is always the key. I can’t wait to process the new info!
I remember seeing you...I was in a hurry to get back to the dock as I wasnt paying close enough attention to how much fuel we burned after lunch!Saw you guys out last weekend by the Orwood bridge. Your boat looks great. We were in the gray 28 Skater.
Good to see you getting seat-time Alex, hope to rip with you soonView attachment 685517 East Coast meet West Coast. 300R Liberator is now making the CA Delta its stomping grounds.
I can’t wait to tangle with them with the DW on a pace similar to what we ran last week in the Nordic! That is some funny shit!Did I also mention how great the Delta is for boating? Here we explored outside the golden gate...then we averaged near 100 mph all the way home. (90 miles) F-14 and Lake pal are hard core Delta warriors! View attachment 685550
