hiding exculpatory evidence. a felony.
Really?

Hiding exculpatory evidence from a congressional hearing is a felony?

Could you cite the federal statute?

An officer of the court in a court of law is certainly precluded from such acts but a congressional hearing which is a political body? I suspect every hearing ever held in congress since the beginning of this Nation would be eligible for this “crime”?

I’m curious. If someone is charged with a crime and evidence exists that would exonerate said person, and the evidence is destroyed resulting in a conviction. There was no crime committed by destroying evidence?

Well then, they'll need no pardons. 👍

The congressional committee was simply a political hearing with no power to charge anything.

That is why I am confused on how a member of that committee "hiding" exculpatory evidence would be a crime?

If it was, every R senator who was involved in "election rigging" hearings would be subject to the same criminal statute. Whatever that statute may be?

That was a yes or no answer. I accused no one in particular.
Just yes or no

I am sure the documents Liz misplaced would not have been detrimental to the prosecutions cases against defendants. However conspiring to hide evidence should be a crime that should be punishable. If so it would be a true miscarriage of justice if Liz was locked away in solitary confinement while waiting trial. Not sure how the justice department got to hide all the video recording that day derailing all the criminals cases assuring pleas or one sided trials. Further more hopefully no democrat president being elected for the next 3 terms would almost insure old Liz would have to sit her fat ass in jail and have no hope of a pardon. But brain dead Biden will more than likely offer and unconditional pardon for crimes not yet convicted.

What specific documents?

There was lots of video and other evidence the government did not release to the defendants lawyers which was requested. How can a criminal trial ever be fair if all evidence is not released to be viewed by a jury. Evidence being withheld due to national security is such a convenient way to insure all defendants take a plea or proceed with kangaroo court to get a certain result.

Those are all fair points.

But the house committee investigating January 6th did not prosecute those individuals nor did they have any legal obligation to turn over anything they found to anyone.

So once again, what is the exact crime and statute that Liz Cheney and other members on that committee violated?

Soooooooo, yore in favor of no pardon needed, noted. 👍

What is glorious is you justifying the actions of a fellow scumbag for all to see................AGAIN!!!!! 🤣

The Subcommittee recovered over one hundred deleted or password-protected files, including some files that were deleted days before Republicans took the majority. They also hid multiple transcribed interviews of witnesses who had firsthand knowledge of Trump‘s actions on January 6."

That’s a clever meme. Once again can you please explain exactly what criminal act they engaged in? What legal obligation they had that they failed to comply with?

I get the whole Karen act you guys like to play as the victim. But what law did they violate?

The Horowitz report is a last ditch attempt, at the very last moment, to get ahead of that true story — which is that the FBI and its parent, the DOJ, have been lawlessly and in bad faith acting against their oaths to defend constitutional government.

For eight years — including the four when Mr. Trump as president — the FBI and DOJ worked tirelessly to run him out of office and make sure he could never return. The effort was prodigious and, astoundingly, it failed. It was launched initially to conceal the crimes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, especially their moneygrubbing in Russia around the Skolkovo project — Russia’s Silicon Valley — and the Uranium One scandal — which involved the sale of US nuclear assets to Russia’s state-owned Rosatom company. The Clinton’s problems became especially acute in the summer of 2016 when Hillary’s private (outside government) email server came to light with its thousands of potentially incriminating memos.

Can a presidential pardon be revoked?
If a pardon is issued, delivered and accepted, it cannot be revoked.

If a pardon was never delivered to a recipient, then the President that issued but never delivered the pardon may revoke it.

If a pardon was issued and delivered but never accepted, then the issuing or a future president may revoke it.
