I had the same story and now have one. Only one lolI was an abused child and never had one growing up. Now I have 11 ct70's and 3 50's Don't ask me why. Everyone has a mini trail story.
Does anything off road come perfect? No, you just need to buy 15k worth of extra to make this bike perfect!Stupid question maybe but will the suspension be set up for an adult?
if so, let’s all pitch in and get one for H20Toie
That RD 400 is sick. My buddy had one and added round water cooled heads to it.
73-Grey and Red, 74-All grey, 75/76-Red and Black, 77/78 All red, 78 having black hubs. That's it..We had a red CT70 3 speed automatic loved it can remember having to push start it when it was due for a tune up always wanted the gold one.
I started working at a gas station when i was 12 saved my money and bought a brand new Honda XR75 paid $525.00 out the door it was a red one before that they were grey/silver.

1973.. They're worth a lot of money and they are pretty rare now.
Here's is my BIL and me riding on our annual 4th of July cruise around the neighborhood. He just got his new to him 73 running and me on my 78.. Good times.

I was 9 when I got it. I started with the Honda 50 at 4. Finally got big enough for the CT70. My dad actually didn’t buy the 50 and 70 for my brother and I. He purchased those as pit cruisers for boat races and Mx races. The XR75 was for me! Lol
Cute, but not $5,000. Cute
When does the ride review come out?
LoL
X2 good timesNever raced there but definitely went riding there…
Wifie and her GF's walk into the dealers to buy these kinda rides and the mark up over msrp has them turning around and walking out.
I had one and loved simply riding it around the neighborhood.Prices will come down eventually.. I paid invoice plus tax and license. $4588 OTD.. I get only one at this price since I'm close friends with the owner of one of the largest dealerships in the country. So, I got the bro deal. Otherwise, I was gonna wait it out. Just not enough inventory right now to justify dealers giving them away.
If it’s all original, the parts are probably what will bring the cash. Especially if you can sort through what you got and can identify the hard to find original parts. Are the trail 110s worth anything like the 70s? My wifes grandfather has one sitting in a shed that's in pretty rough shape the we need to get rid of. Trying to clear the house out to sell but not a clue what these are worth?
Very cool. I tried to buy a Monkey during covid but mark up's were insane. I bet this is probably the same engine as the grom so maybe you can swap the trans from that over. Grom has been out for ever so parts would be easy to find if it's bolt on.I love the thing.. It's much bigger than the CT70. More suspension, bigger wheels and much wider. I can carve the canyons pretty good with the power coming from the fire breathing 124cc EFI monster. The MPG is 106.7, this is awesome. My only real complaint is the Semi auto 4 speed transmission, really wished it was a 5 speed manual, but beggars can't be choosers. Overall it's a total blast for me and has a special place in my heart. I might be able to squeeze out a couple more HP with an aftermarket airbox, exhaust and tune.
