been a busy boy. had a chunk of my guts removed, 12 rounds of chemo and got an "all clear" three month follow up. sold my Harbor city house to a fellow inmate here then bought a bunch more machinery to add and upgrade my shop here in Big River. still trying to make room and decide what to keep and what to resell. not sure what I was thinking at 64 :0

Had our own V Drive regatta with family and friends on the Lower River this past weekend. My 2 sons & my son in law . 1 Litchfield, 1 D’Cucci, 1 Biesemeyer and a Hondo plus our buddies and their boats. Total of 9 flatties

Wes's D'cucci in my shop earlier this year. Looks like the bottom is working good from the videos he sent me. A lot of glass work to get that thing right. That little 480" All aluminum Pump Gas engine runs damn good too.

Quite the Crew working on the Banzai 2 Blown Fuel hydro…
Left to right…Gene Mooneyham, Barry McGown, Rich Hallett, Roland Leong and Keith Black.
This was the first 426 “elephant” engine ever put in a drag boat. Black had the contract with Chrysler to do the Marine program.
This is the first time in the water for the new boat.
Barry flipped it later that day and it was destroyed.

383 stroker/roller, good rotating assy and heads.
Should run right at 90.
Our target speed for the Enduro will be 70mph.
Still need to mount the 18gal auxiliary tank.

I've never seen the distributor on the rear of a chevy v-drive before...thought they were up front and fords were in the back...

Depends if you run off the flyweel or damper end of the crank . Most circle boats run a solid driveshaft (no u-joints) so reverse the prop rotation to left . Aids in turning .
