I would recommend against water injected Bassett’s.How many decibels will it lower them? I've got some chrome water injected Bassetts from the Lavey I could put on...what do you recommend?
They are a mess in terms of water in the boat.
Also potential problems with water in the cylinders.
Also, they’re not real good looking with the long collectors back far enough to clear the rear deck.
Finally according to the Marine Law expert, who used to patrol Parker after he pulled me and my son over in a 1976 Campbell with thru transom exhausts at 35mph, water is not a muffling device!
He said he should not be able to stick a broom handle up in the exhaust. There has to be some blockage to be legal.
The units we talked about will do that.
